I started flying and went to the outside view and saw this weird fan type thing and oen compartment.  I am in 1.7.1 and XP11.  I am at a loss!  ha ha

Found it!  I accidently hit the ADG control.  Did not know what that was! #alwayslearning

Air Driven Generator (ADG).  When all else fails, this little guy will get you home....

It's a small Ram Air Turbine (known as a RAT) used in the event of a dual engine failure.  It provides electricity to the emergency bus and has a small hydraulic pump for gear and flight controls.  Usually deploys automatically given certain criteria, but can be deployed manually for ops checks.  I have deployed one in real life for an ops check and it makes a heck of a loud racket.  Can't be stowed in flight once deployed.
