DarrenHowie Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Hi Guys Firstly really been loving your 737. Im a 320 Captain in the real world and never would give up my tray table for a real one of these but you have done a great job on the best aircraft in a sim i have ever flown or been on a developement team for. Ok previously not an issue on 10.45 ever however since upgrading to 10.5 on steam I am getting kicked out frequently on FMC inputs normally associated with a SID or STAR and getting these feedback screens. Frequently I have also noticed the line select key may also be disabled after the dump screen comes up. I have attached three whch i got today while going from NZCH Christchurch to Queenstown NZQN. Queenstown has no approaches in the DB and on selection of runway 05 LSK 1R it dumped every time indicating an error one of the screens attached. I also got one on short final with the autoplit off, flight directors off and AT off. Im running an El Capitan IMac I7 10-11-6 OS. I noticed someone else on El Capitan was having a similar thing as well on runway selection at an airport without approaches. I did a trial on loading a plan into a larger airport and it loaded ok but i have had these dump screens occasionally at random times. Once again great work and more i can do to help for information just ask. Thanks Darren Quote
mmerelles Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 This is a limitarion on the current fmc development status. This is not related to 10.50 or mac/windows you can not select a runway only or gizmo will soft crash, you need to select an approach procedure. for queenstown you may select rnav to 05 for example. I go there quite often likes there. You can edit what required once selected. i do not know if this is already improved for next update or a later one. hope this helps. 1 Quote
