MikeAR Posted June 24, 2016 Report Posted June 24, 2016 Hello everyone! I am looking for some help on the following issue: I seem to have a problem with the Saitek X55 throttles when using IXEG's B737 Classic. When I first run the sim, everything works fine and if I try moving the throttles, I can see the throttles moving on the sim. However, after I have gone through the engine start up procedure for the aircraft, and all engines are running and there is nothing shown on 'Recall', the simulator throttles don't move when I use the Saitek X55 Throttle controller. I have tried re-installing the drivers, and re-starting the computer, but the problem is still there. I have to say, that when I first bought the IXEG B737 and installed it, everything worked fine. I have my computer set for automatic up-dates, so may have had some new updates installed. I have tried looking at the settings and the throttles are correctly mapped. Any help would be appreciated, as I enjoy flying the brilliant IXEG B737 Classic! Quote
Tchou Posted June 24, 2016 Report Posted June 24, 2016 When you say they are correctly mapped you mean when you move the left throttle, you have the throttle 1 bar moving, and the same with the right throttle and throttle 2 bar ? Maybe you could help us by posting your log.txt file after a session... Quote
MikeAR Posted June 24, 2016 Author Report Posted June 24, 2016 Hi Yes that is correct. All is working, until I have completed the engine start. ( I have since discovered that my Saitek Switch panel may be the culprit! When I switch on Battery Master , ALT and Avionics Master - on the Saitek switch panel - (which then light up the radio and comms/navigation panels) , I found that the Throttles don't work. However, if I switch off the Avionics Master on the Saitek switch panel, the Throttles work again (but the Radio/Comms panel are black). Likewise if I switch ON the Avionics Master to see the Radio/Comms read-outs, then the Throttles don't work. I have attached the log files. Log.txt GizmoLog.txt Quote
Celis Posted June 24, 2016 Report Posted June 24, 2016 (edited) I used the X65 and had same problem but with the SAAB.. The problem on my side was that I have an axis set for reverses. Once I disable the reverse axis, the problem was fixed. But I don't have that axis problem with IXEG. good luck Edited June 24, 2016 by Celis Quote
MikeAR Posted June 26, 2016 Author Report Posted June 26, 2016 I have Thrust Reverser mapped on a button on my Throttle. However, I have tried to disable this but the problem still exists! I am beginning to think that the problem is due to the device drivers? Quote
