wierd FMC message

I was booting up the plane today at EKCH (Copenhagen), and when I tried to enter 340 into the crz alt boxes, an FMC message displayed, saying "CHECK ALTITUDE TARGET".

However, at some times the FMC will accept the altitude , no problem

Anybody with a fix please post below.
