OK so I mentioned I was working on a project in another thread and pilotman22 asked me to post up a thread about it so here it is. I decided that I want to make an ERJ175, it started off as a way to learn blender and tinker around, and its gotten pretty serious so far. I know for a fact that it will be freeware, and if I totally fail I wont even release it.lol. Im trying to make a fully modeled 3D cockpit. And at the moment I have no plans on developing a 2D cockpit for this.

as you can see I do have some stuff textured and nothing animated yet. But Im not satified with the FMC because on the real ERJ175 there is a screen to tune in your comm radios. I still have yet to figure out how to do that. Well tell me what you think, and go easy. its my first time.

WOW! That looks wonderful! I'd offer my help but I'm not too talented at working with Aircrafts, sceneries are more my thing  ;D It definitely looks great!

Yeah, its not finished yet though. But I have the main parts on it. I needed it to get my model scaled and so I could test out the renders in xplane. Soon I'm gonna fire up java foil and get me an airfoil for it.

That's a good idea but I think it would do me more good to learn to program one myself. If I learned to do that it would help me in other areas of aircraft programming so I can develop aircraft that will deliver a richer experience.
