SCross Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 OK so I mentioned I was working on a project in another thread and pilotman22 asked me to post up a thread about it so here it is. I decided that I want to make an ERJ175, it started off as a way to learn blender and tinker around, and its gotten pretty serious so far. I know for a fact that it will be freeware, and if I totally fail I wont even release it.lol. Im trying to make a fully modeled 3D cockpit. And at the moment I have no plans on developing a 2D cockpit for this. as you can see I do have some stuff textured and nothing animated yet. But Im not satified with the FMC because on the real ERJ175 there is a screen to tune in your comm radios. I still have yet to figure out how to do that. I needed it to get my model scaled and so I could test out the renders in xplane. Soon I'm gonna fire up java foil and get me an airfoil for it. If I learned to do that it would help me in other areas of aircraft programming so I can develop aircraft that will deliver a richer experience.
