blegen Posted May 23, 2016 Report Posted May 23, 2016 After installing update 1.0.4 the MCP altitude window reads 100000. If I try to set it, a bunch of random numbers flash in the window and then it returns to 100000. I tried to make a debug file but I received an "INVALID EXPORT" message. ixam500 Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 You might as well post this in the bug report section, the chance that the IXEG guys are gonna see it here is not that high! Quote
mmerelles Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 It looks like external hardware interfering and messing with the datarefs. As per your log file you have: -"XPUIPC plugin" (which already caused issues on previous versions and the plugin developers released an updated version) -DTA rotary hardware, i am not familiar to this one. My suggestion would be, remove the plugins and the hardware, just to confirm the aircraft works just fine. Then re-install your stuff and you probably require some update, fine tuning. hope this helps Quote
Slayer Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 My guess is you're manipulating the dataref for the display instead of making your hardware turn the knob left and right. Probably a misplaced decimal or something in there too. Good luck. Quote
blegen Posted May 30, 2016 Author Report Posted May 30, 2016 DTA rotary hardware is an encoder (2090 Rotatry Encoder) from Desktop Aviation. I used it to make an MCP. I fixed my altitude window problem by resetting everything with the ixeg/733 list under Buttons: Adv. I had originally used the sim/ commands. Thanks for the suggestions. Quote
