Jacoba Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 What's the chances we will see an ungraded, improved GPS unit in XP10, maybe something closer to the spirt of the real Garmin 430/530?I would think that would be a great new addition a functional in-sim GPS that could replace the 430 simpleton we have now.I am also hoping that we see a more functional FMC with the addition of new airliners to XP10, but I don't expect it to touch the level of complexity we will see (hopefully soon) coming from the some of the offerings being previewed here. The GPS unit is a must for an improved XP10! Quote
AnonymousUser68 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 I heard that Austin is working on an accurate 430 for a later release of v9 Quote
Jacoba Posted September 25, 2010 Author Report Posted September 25, 2010 Man! That would be a nice treat! Quote
XPAfrica Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 It looks like XP9 developpement is coming to an end. X-Mas being only a few months away (and the release of v10 being estimated to occur around x-mas), i guess that's a feature that will come with v10.Then again, maybe it will be part of a final update for v9, as a teaser of what v10 can do. garrettm30 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 That seems to me to be the king of incremental change that can be released after a major release. I'm sure they are focusing on the really big things that they want to keep stable across an entire version, particularly the things that affect development. With such a small team, they have to focus on their priorities. Quote
dpny Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Already been announced as a v10 feature. Quote
