The graphical path indicator (GPI) changes the diamond between +10000 feet and - 10000 feet on the same leg. It happened on the PIGLT4 star into KMCO, coming from KATL. The exact place is in-between HKUNA (FL270) and MTATA (FL250); the leg is 50 nm long. So, the FMC bridges 2000 feet and has 50 nautical miles to do so. The GPI went more or less berserk ... Quote
