how do you install the livery onto the defult 747. i can do it for addons but not the defult

Option #1

 

You can create a new folder within the 747 folder called liveries, then drag the livery into the liveries folder.

X-Plane will locate the liveries folder so that you can access the paint and many other paints in X-Plane. 

 

 

Option #2

 

Locate your livery, the open the objects folder inside the livery, copy those objects, and paste them in the objects

folder inside the 747 folder. you'll get the livery, but will lose the united paint.

 

I recommend you do "Option #1" so you take up less disc space on your computer
