    repainting help

    pilotman posted a topic in Help!?!

    Hi I'm not sure if posting here is the place to post my question but I can't figure out how to repaint correctly the PNG files for the aircraft in Xplane 9.70 . Do those files need to be converted over to a different version before you start repainting your aircraft ? I wanted to repaint the B747-400 United made by XPlane one of their stock airliners in Xplane 9 , when you look at the file the plane looks out of shape to repaint . I'm using Paint Shop Pro 8 , I have had it for years so its old but still works with PNG files and other paint texture files . Right now all I'm trying to do is get the file setup in Paint Shop Pro for repainting so it looks like a full size aircraft to repaint . If anyone can help me get started that would be great because I'm not a professional XPlane repainter. Thanks I'll checkback later . Pilotman
