I found a bunch of info about the 787 on Wikipedia. You were right about the 787-9 because there is still not enough info about the -9. The -9's delivery will start in 2014 which is a long time from now. But keep up with the good work
As it were, wikipedia is the last place i'd check
, i know, once the new 787 rolls out, that for the most, things like engine specs will be similar (perhaps uprated a bit), otherwise, i'd use the FCOM to re-design the plane

for y'all
, this is the first portion of the update to the 787 family, a brand new exterior. The plane's exterior definition is now the highest in X-plane for freeware Heavies (as far as i know), which is quite exciting! If i'm right, it also falls in the top 5 for definition of all heavy aircrafts (payware or freeware). At the moment, the textures are slightly higher in definition than the 777-200LR

Are you going to do the 787-9 too?
Not yet, because the 787-9 has not yet been finalized (finalized meaning put into physical production and flight testing). I don't want to start working on it now, because i run the risk of missing the details, for example, given the extension in the fuselage, it seems logical that the -9 will have a larger landing gear, which would call for a modified strut system to support the larger size

it's alright, i just have a tough time deciphering internet jokes
so don't be too shocked if i take something the wrong way XD

sorry jeez
but at the end, it is my choice how i decide to model my planes, and if i want a re-vamped interior to match the currently being revamped exterior, then that's what i want. Sarcastic comments are not appreciated, but if you don't like the interior, you're more than welcome to not go into there.

Okay, i've started the updating process, main changes so far, new door textures and objects (+100 polygons) newly re-configured OH bins, with a simpler, smoother design (-260 polygons) and updated window frames. Next, i have to update the lavatory walls to higher definition, upgrade the flight attendant seat area and add a few more shadows. first ANA cabin, should be done in a few weeks, then, i will update the Ethiopian Cabin, then the Qatar Cabin, then the JAL cabin, then the UAL cabin, and hopefully, i'll get the LAN seats in soon.

787 has been delayed indefinitely. i've come to realize that I REALLY hate how the interior walls look at the moment, i'll be taking a lot of time to re-design parts of the plane. the next few months will be dedicated to re-mapping the entire 787 interior to make the textures look many times nicer. Sorry guys, i just can't stand the current state of the interior, the plane will be getting new overhead bins that will blend more smoothly, new textures for all the walls and washrooms, new galley textures and a lot of polygon reduction. The release should still be between december-march, if not, then it could be as late as june-july

I mean these images:

They've been enlarged, so they're blurry and pixellated. If you could get a sharper picture of your aircraft instead, it would look better.
actually, those were screenshots originally, idk why they're small now

unfortunately, ground spoilers aren't behaving, so we'll have to find a different way to do those

I just finished adding a brand new feature to the 787's wing. See, when the 787 takes off, the inboard flaperon gets pulled up by heavy hydraulic pumps to prevent exhaust and vibration damage between 30 and 80 kts, then, at 80 kts, the flaperon gets lowered back down to match the flaps, and the plane continues like nothing ever happened. the 777 also has this feature in real life.

Let's not forget, Scoot ordered 787-9s not 787-8s

Took the 767-200ER PW4000 AL model out in XP 10, got some great performance overall, loved it <3
the 64 bit version seems to have improved quite a few things, very nice indeed <3

thanks
anyway, just remember, typically, your responsiveness will be corelated to whether or not you have your Yaw Damper turned on. If you download the latest version here at x-pilot, you'll see that it actually has teh 767's OH panel
as for the nav, you've actually pointed out a legitimate bug, i'll fix that soon

I just imported the 787 into XP 10, and i'm posting this information, if you own the 767, you should expect a possible 5-10 frame decrease in rendering

*for the record it's an older version of the 787, it has since been updated*

As far as good videos go, this one is absolutely amazing! not just because they featured my 767 and 787, but also because of the amazing music choice, such an uplifting piece very fitting of x-plane

yay
767!!!!

well i couldn't take any larger photos, cuz my computer takes photos at a set resolution

But as i've said, i'll also be doing the 787-9, but not until the final exterior configuration is decided upon, remember, the -9 would feature differently placed windows based on where the new Carbon fiber plugs would go, and it'd require slightly larger tires to counteract the length during takeoff, it'd also need a re-designed gear strut and leg to make way for the modified tires.
