Instead of cars, how about converting airliners for World Traffic?
my 767s are all being converted as we speak

From the MSFS side of things

yeah... that's you requesting something... or asking for something... same thing... they are synonymous XD post in aircraft development, i think that's the appropriate place
-
fuel cut-off valves should be down to zero... though i'm not 100% sure, will check when i get a new laptop

This has been sitting around my brain for a little while now, I want to make a car for x-plane! I remember a while back seeing cars that worked in X-plane, and ground vehicles, and although this sim is for planes, I think that a car would be cool! The car would probably be developed by my team, and would feature high detailing (with polygon counts higher than most of my aircraft) and a variety of bespoke options if someone wants something special.I'm posting this to guage interest in this project. Most likely, it'd be a luxury sedan, since I'm not a huge sports car person.so the main contestants are:Rolls Royce Phantom familyThis would include the Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase, Phantom drophead coupe and the Phantom hard-top coupeBentley Mulsanne
This would include just the Mulsanne, with the 33000$ option of ipads and ipods for a working office in the mulsanne.
Bentley Continental FamilyThis would include the Continental GT, GTC and flying spurMaserati QuattroporteThis would only be the Quattroporte, nothing else.
Maybach 62This would probably include the shorter models of the Maybach.Or the Brand new, Bugatti GalibierOther options are welcome, This project would be a nice small side project to the main 787 series. -
I find that B747 Classic package is great and totally wort the 20$ now if you want a really crappy payware plane just go and look at Peters DC-8-71 that he sells for 12$, now that is outdated, the 7 B747's are far from outdated.
I'm done.

That is your opinion, and honestly that is your opinion about almost every plane.
That is more than an opinion, the plane is outdated.
No, my opinion on this, and perhaps 4 or 5 other jets as it stands today is that they are outdated, others may be poorly modeled or insufficiently built, but not out-dated. Typically a plane needs to be old to be out-dated.
-
O.o Why not?
A little too basic, and in need of an update, I think that it has fallen behind most freeware jets in terms of quality.
-
is it worth it?
nope.

- all the bars between the windows should be parallel (the edges of window 1 and 2 aren't parallel and are a bit too far apart) = do you mean the top and bottom of them?
- the foremost windshield should be larger = which one? And which ones are 1 2 and 3
- second foremost should be longer, but shorter = the middle one right? Longer but shorter? huh?
- third windshield is too big = is that the one closest to the door
- also, note in the attached photo, the top and bottom of the entire windshield isn't a parallel line, the windshields get smaller and smaller, with the first two being level on the bottom, but not on the top, and the third one being much smaller than the rest. = okay i see what you mean all windshields are parallel at the top except the one closest to the door for it is smaller and more slanted.
- the first two windshields are slanted downwards, the third is horizontal = gotcha
Thanks,
Remlap
P.S. sorry about the confusion
omg so sorry i wasn't thinking writing this window 1 = front, window 2 = middle one window 3 = last one
longer/shorter = longer in length but shorter in height
yes third windshield = one closest to the door
omg so sorry

Yeah i see what you mean in this pic you can see that the 2nd and 3rd frame is a bit to thick and the middle looks about right maybe a bit to big. I will fix the rounded area right now cause i see what you mean!
Looking good! notes for improvement:
- all the bars between the windows should be parallel (the edges of window 1 and 2 aren't parallel and are a bit too far apart)
- the foremost windshield should be larger
- second foremost should be longer, but shorter
- third windshield is too big
- also, note in the attached photo, the top and bottom of the entire windshield isn't a parallel line, the windshields get smaller and smaller, with the first two being level on the bottom, but not on the top, and the third one being much smaller than the rest.
- the first two windshields are slanted downwards, the third is horizontal
Still, it's going well thus far, keep up!

Here is another shot of the beast!
looks good! i'd recomend rounding out the wing box fairing, just the upper level of it (near the front),
also, the frames of the windows appear a little far apart, though it's hard to judge based on the distortion of the lense in the screenshot.

Love the livery, got it today, their work IS great, it would be cool if they could do the paints for the 787
Elias Portillo AKA Elanport AKA eport works alone
-
Eport aviation graphics has just released a beautiful paint for my 767, yes, i know, not really related, but it is my jet and they are doing some amazing work over there. There's still possibility that he will be designing several liveries for the 787

Yeah. But the outside design is a bit different
LOL yeah, although, in reality, the nose design is almost identical in theory. the very far forward nose door is a design trait taken from the a380
-
Yeah, thats what i hope. But i still think that the A350 looks not good. Well it has been build under the newest aerodynamical rules.
The a350 has a huge number of common traits with the a380, it features a similar nose gear and gear box design, along with a very similar cockpit.
-
Where did you get the model, and is it good?
it's by riviere, xp-8 quality plane, not very good.

-
Also, i noted in this photo, the a350 shares a very similar flap design to the 787, in that it appears to be single slotted flap with only rotation and no rear-ward movement
-
Seems to me you have to make the nose look funny in order to make a next-gen super-efficient widebody. 787 anyone?
-NR
well, the nose is mostly aesthetics in both cases. MOSTLY. The other reasoning, is that now, designers have much more complex modelling tools at their disposal, and molds for planes like the 787 and a350 are becoming more and more complex in turn. although it doesn't seem that way, both the 787 and a350 have extremely complex nose cross sections, that need to be carefully designed for maximum efficiency and practicality.
Following the general opinion, YES that plane looks amazing! It's interesting, how wide the landing gears are, and the shape of the windshield and "mask" around the panels
-
That's about the first 787 I've seen that doesn't have the dreamliner logo on the lower rear fuselage.

yes, ramzzess did a very nice job on the 757 exterior, some work still needed, but very nice
it really is a pity that people won't put in that extra mile, when in reality many of the fixes could be done in one day.
-
British Airways just rolled out their freshly painted 787! So for all you Brits that have been begging me for one, it's now on the queue

I actually don't think so, he spells livery correctly
