Thank you for your resolution reply. One to two meters is pretty impressive for such a large area. It sounds like a very reasonable and elegant solution to the problem. I suspect that the imagery will actualy look even better once we have it up full screen and ful res in the sim. -- looking forward to seeing that "coming soon" flag dissapear; if you don't have a release party - I will.

How does the resolution compare with the more recent googe earth imagry at max zoom settings?

Thanks for taking the time to post an update Cameron. I'm sorry to hear about the development challenges - what dosen't kill a project only makes it stronger. You guys will get there, and as you say you'll have an awesome backbone in place. I'm all for short term pain, but long term gain. Thanks for all of the hard work. -Darrick.

Is the terrain mesh a higher overall resolution than the default X-Plane scenery? With fantastic imagery such as this it's hard to tell one way other other... Just curious.
