Well i am glad i didn't give up on fixing this issue... And i take it there's no support at weekends here. Luckily i remembered one of the early issues with MSFS was if you had any form of overclocking it would result in CTD's for a lot of folks. I checked the Bios, and i must have turned XMP on at some point after that earlier issue was solved. Now done two flights with no issues on the extra XP12 installation with just the Challenger 650 and Avitab installed. Full flight planned tomorrow. Hope it helps someone in the future if they come across this issue on AMD Systems.

Hi I hope i can get some help with this issue. Everything was fine until i enabled Zink a month or so ago. It caused issues and i got help advising me to not use it, and disabled it ever since. Now ever since, the sim freezes or locks up sometimes as early as programming the FMS, (usually on a key press) other times i will get airborne. only to switch view and bam! Locked up. Actions taken so far... Disabled Zink, then removed all addons.. Still the same. Then i did a clean install of XP12 on another drive, and used a fresh download of the Challenger 650. with nothing else installed. so far i am yet to get a flight in again. with similar results to before, with either locking up entering data into the fms or changing view just after TO. Totally baffled now as all other aircraft Toliss, FF, etc all work fine. Any advice appreciated. Log.txt Log New Installation, no addons.txt

No i forgot to copy it before running the sim again. But what i did notice was there were errors reporting my joystick, Throttles were not calibrated. but they were. so at a loss with that one. I dare say that could have caused the lock up, as it happened when i was adjusting the range. Thanks

Ok, with the plugin folder empty i managed to finally get into the air with a planned flight KRNT - KBOS. But an hour into the flight and for no apparant reason than changing the range on the centre console, bang... frozen again. Pretty much at a loss as it has been a new install, and have no issues with any other aircraft. I flew the Toliss A 340 from WSSS- EGLL the other day (13rs in total) with no problems at all.

Hi I am having trouble with the challanger for the past week or so, what is happening is the whole sim locks up and freezes only with this aircraft at some stage of the configuring for flight, or taxi . I have never been able to get off the ground. Zink is off (AMD Cpu) i had a look at the log but cannot see anything amiss. Any help appreiciated. C.Rose Log.txt

Thanks for your help, it does indeed seem as if Laminar had enabled it, as i just recieved a message when logging into the sim stating they have removed the auto selection of Zinc. All working fine again. Many thanks

How do you suggest not using Zinc? Whatever that is. And how do i go about disabling it?

Hi I had not flown the Challanger for awhile, but when i went to use it last night, no screens display at all in the cockpit, I have tried everything from double checking i am going through the start up process correctly, to removing plugins, and re-installing the Challanger. All i get is blank screens, and the aircraft plate at the front of console is like back to front? also when i try to pop-out screens all i get is the X top right to close, there is no screen? AMD system with the following specs AMD Ryzen7 58003dx 32gb DDR4 Ram, Radeon RX6800 16gb, MSI 570 Pro M/Board As i say, it worked perfectly for months, so i cannot understand the change that has caused this, or is it due to a recent XP12 update?? Plane is totally unusable at the moment due to this. Cheer's

Went to fly the Challanger tonight, and the first time in a while, just to noticce the same issue, and all the screens blank. tried re-installing, no joy. Also an AMD system, bit of a paper weight now i guess.
