More information after looking at Volanta for the flight: It appears the plane somehow started to descend and gracefully landed into a rural Canadian neighborhood at -1354fpm, so I assume it has something to do with this.

Can't give too many details on the crash. Was somewhere between top of climb and cruise (had gone to the bathroom and about 35,000ft and was climbing to FL390) and came back after a bit and found it had crashed. If you need any more info I can try and provide it. Log is attached. Log.txt
