[APU will not start.]

In career mode and I’ve created a new aircraft. 
 

on start up I have a persistent error on the left APU button. 
 

PUMP FAIL

and

SOV CLOSED

No nothing special.

I reloaded the system with a fresh load of the Challenger.  The HUD is now working!

When I pull down my HUD it is blank.

I have tried rotating the knob on glareshield.

What am I missing please?
