you only have to do this: 1. install the plane in xplane10 2. Open airfoil maker 3. go to File menu/Convert All Airfoils to Latest Format wait... you have it.. You can load correctly the T34 Mentor Any other plane you have with same problem, that is the way to solve it.

Right now the project is stopped searching the posibilities to end it

About Hype... I always think the same... If you post a video.. or photo.. people will IMAGINE what they want.. and will SEE a totally different thing that the video or picture is posting. There is nothing can be done with people IMAGINATION.. There was no hype.. just people imagination. I am not saying xplane10 is worst that expected. It depends in everyone imagined xp10 had to be. XP10 is XP10... and will be XP10.x where that "X" increase will be better and better. This is the start gentlemen!! Put your imagination and your effort to make the 10 version better and better. Concentrate in constructive critism.. and leave the bad crisism away. And ENJOY as it is. People that comes from FSX will expect to see a FS11.. but this is XPlane.. not Microsoft Flight Sim. A sim with its good and its not good things. But that I consider globally better than the microsoft product. BUT not only this xp10 version, but also the XP9. XP10 has born. He has a FUTURE in front of you.

Working in the XP10 version of the CRJ200
Japo32 replied to Japo32's topic in Canadair CRJ-200 - Released!
Yes, but in the manner of screen on.. then light.. off. not.. It is not going to change colours depending on what is represented in the displays... BUT it will give a better ambient. -

Working in the XP10 version of the CRJ200
Japo32 replied to Japo32's topic in Canadair CRJ-200 - Released!
Ok... now I fixed a problem I had in the plane that didn't show the shadows inside the 3D Cockpit. Now you can see those shadows there!! Good!! Of course this option will take more performance from the computer, but those that have good enough ones will have good eye candy!! A good thing that is included inside the last beta version is that I can select which objects must preserve maximun texture size. This is great because that way people can downgrade texture size in the rendering options and still see the text labels in panels cleary well. Good thing I separated the object of text so the performance will be good there!! -

I think what Cameron says.. is that no.... you don't have to pay anything more to receive the update to xplane 10. -
The CRJ200 you bought works in the XPlane10 version (when xp10 is out you could fly it), and it is really great in visuals now (it was also in xp9 but this time is great with all the new illumination). But there are a few little graphical issues that needs to be improved and I have been working in them. This is a little capture today. Now all lights in the CRJ200 will illuminate the runway and all other objects. No more tricks used.

Ahhh so it was a localizer. So you tried to catch it with NAV mode with the autopilot, because I didn't see the Gs armed. Or did you press the APPROACH mode button? Also could you please try with the localizer frequency in both nav1 and nav2 radios? Like a CATIII (but it won't be a CAT III. Only CAT II)

Hi. I have just emailed Philipp to know what could happend there. It seems that there is something missed.. but I don't know if it is because the plane or x-plane.. or the way you flought. What I can see is that you try to catch the VOR almost 8nm out of the VOR. I don't know if that is enough for intercepting. Maybe is ok, because usually I only catch that distance when following to the ILS, and never had any problem. If I try to catch a VOR usually is more distance. For me the speed, the angle are good enough... Maybe the turbulences.... but well.. have to investigate, because if every VOR was not catched then it would easy to find the error.. but if only a few or little are not intercepted... then how to solve it will be difficult.

Have to fly more... But in my flights (and believe me that there are a few already) I never saw this problem. Maybe because I followed the procedures as described in maps.. maybe because I was lucky. The real thing is that the failure is not easy to reproduce (if exist).. but we will try to find it (if exist) thanks.

"Extreme res!" is the preset you have to put if you want to have same textures the artist made. I think is bad named as "extreme Res" becasue that extreme res is the same resolution the artist made.. and not bigger that the ones you have. Anything below that is blur the textures. So "extreme res!" is like saying: "use the textures the way they are created"

I am not programmer.. but not in what is already programmed. Yes in what is not done in vasFMC. But of course always a programmer like philipp can even create more functions that are not includen in vasFMC. Well what I wanted to say.. is that everything that is done in the CRJ200 won't be lost.

Introducing Remote CDU, the easy way to expand your CRJ cockpit
Japo32 replied to philipp's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
At the moment is not scaleable, but the proportiohs are good for almoas every tablet or phone.. and you can just pinch and zoom to fit in all screen. Demonstrations in Lelystad. -
Ok.. Now I have seen the bug. It is confirmed and it will be fixed in next upgrade of the plane. The good news is that only affects to the label name... not the tune of the frequency.. so you can still can tune them. A good way to know which one is tuned is hear the morse tone also. You can hear it in the radios. letting the sound come from the aid you have tunned. we will fix this one.. but it will take a little time to release it. If you feel that you cannot fly without this, then maybe you can revert to 1.1.1 version. But as said you will have it fixed in 1.2.x or 1.3 version (number depending if it is a bug fix or a upgrade with new FMS functions)
-
Ohhh it seems the GPU shadow but without the hose... don't know because dont have REX in my computer. Try to make it appear and dissappear in the FMS menu, and deactivate REX pluging for testing.
-
When on auto the frequency is tuned to the desired by the fms. Not the one you want. Also do it in a different airport than valencia, and if still ocurs install the default crj200 with default navigraph.
-
Ok. .. I think I know what is your problem. turn off the AUTO function in the FMS. Put it in MANUAL mode, and tune the frequency you want.
-
Mmmm extrange because I see it correctly. Are you sure the vor is there? Try to tune it in other plane... other vor in a different airport...

Dhruv, Thanks a lot for worring about our costummers and the way to do the things.. but you know every "house" has its problems.. and always is easy look the bulls in the other part of the fence. You, as a creator know very well how difficult is to release a plane, and I have more important things to make than making this stuff... of the manual selection between Speed and Mach. I suppose people would like to see first the vnav advisories, a better holding page in the fms, fuel prediction... than this selection knob. Of course we will do it if we have time.. but as you know Philipp is the only programmer inside.. and I believe there are more imporant things to do than this Mach-Knots selection... and I would like Philipp to concentrate (if he wants.. because he is free to make whatever he likes) in the FMS upgrade. I repeat again.. Perfection is the first step to failure. Sorry but I wouldn't spend a second in that function if there are other things more important to make.. because the way like it is right now is ok for me. Of course there will be people that don't think like me... but my task is to evaluate and focus in the important things. I cannot make all happy and I don't pretend. But yes make happy a great number of people. Alex you and me have different visions of what should be a plane in x-plane. I believe (maybe I am wrong) you look the reality simulated 100% first. I look the fun first... and for example.. I would like to implement a maintenance system like the PMDG one.. than making the 100% real. We are 2 people and would say that almost 1, because Phillipp is the one that know programming. I know you tell this for good.. but even good intentions can be bad decisions. thanks for your worring.. but I have a clear vision what this CRJ200 needs to be better. Of course if we have time and force.. we will implement those functions missed. Included the Match-Knots.. and knowing a little Philipp.. I believe we will do it in no time.. but I still believe is a mistake trying to satisphy everyone. Of course if you want to help, your help is welcome.. Even you (or anyone) can programm systems or things for the CRJ200 and sell them by his own (or distribute his work for free). Still the CRJ200 would be needed, so more sellings, because those "mods" would do it a better plane. You know.. I think "mods" are the best people can do for promote a product. Thanks!

We choosed to do it the way it is as said in the fcom. The way it is right now it is perfect for me, and perfectly flyable.

Mmm did my test flight and it was there.... don't know... -
So if you never made it work then something is missing by your side. Have you followed the video tutorials?
