Any new pictures or progress updates?
Do you not get it?
This would be the place we would post to if we had any important words to say!
Stay tuned!....

I had this too, make sure your X-Plane Folder is not on your desktop.

After already being mentioned a few times, I guess it's finally time for me to poke my head in here also . Thanks to Chris, who was so kind to let me collaborate with him on this project!
I did the editing of tiles that..well... needed editing! For example, in the orthophotos, aircraft were parked at the gates or the taxiway that needed to be taken out. Also, runway 02 was covered by a large cloud that needed to be removed (easier said than done ).
Attached are a couple of shots taken in v10, showing the gates and runway 02. Enjoy!

Looks incredible! Any chance of seeing photo scenery for the surrounding areas as well?
-
Looks very good for a first try! Keep it up, and I can't wait to see it textured. Reminds me of the times it tried to learn Blender... I'll get there someday

I thought you were going to terminate your account? I would contact Aerosoft to resolve the problem.

Well not exactly snails progress, but yeah it's coming along really slow to be honest. I am itching for an update but seriously I don't want to bug the developers.
I think that we all appreciate frequent updates, but what exactly do you wish to hear while the dev's are programming? It would not make for a very interesting post, nor would many of us understand what the heck it would mean .

they've certainly got their graphics figured out. Too bad most airports are 2d phototextures.

Not blaming anyone here but I've lost all hope for this project... I've been using X-Plane for almost 2 years and I check the forums and their website daily, I just don't think it's going to happen for ages yet,
LOL. You clearly have not read any of their previous posts. Nor do you have any understanding of how complex the 777 systems are.

At the moment, you can only use some FS9 and FSX sceneries on X-Plane, not vice versa. To convert sceneries, go to: http://marginal.org.uk/x-planescenery/tools.html, and download FS2XP.

18 fps and everything looks ****** ...I guess I know what I'll be buying for christmas...Try getting rid of the high res planet textures from orbit, and changing the objects to something lower than default.

Hi, welcome to the forum! Lovely screenshots, look at those bump-maps

somebody pinch me! first the xp10 demo, and now this . By the way, words cannot describe the detail you put into this, fantastic work!
-
Xbox, just because the controllers fit a lot better into your hands.
-
Wow, that looks fantastic! Hope you'll try to keep the poly count down a little though..

LOL. Specificity?
Well, I'm sure its the systems they are still working on. The exterior of the aircraft was finished a while back, and I believe there is not much left to texture in the cockpit.

Thanks for the nice comments! They mean a lot to me and others that have made this project what it has become!
An incredible amount of work has been put into this latest overhaul of NorCal. After working on this for more than two + years and redoing various aspects of the scenery three times, I'm really excited to see it near completion!
The only scenery development left is along the eastern California border. The light at the end of the tunnel is very bright now!
That's great news! I hope this is not too early to ask, but do you have a price range in mind? Cheers, and good luck with the rest of the project!

Looks amazing. And I love how the water textures blend with the waves breaking on the shore .I can't wait for it to be finished!

Looks really nice, but a little too clean imo.
