Remarkable as it may be, everything is working with my Honeycomb Bravo, except the ability to program the CRS. For some reason, (or other) that didn't come through with the default throttle profile. I was wondering if anyone had success programming the CRS option (2nd to last on the left rotary dial.) Thanks in advance... Crash

Apologies for the late reply. I'm not here all that often... Your suggestion worked...Thanks

It's not a big deal, but I was wondering if I could program the Garmin RXP before doing an AutoStart. I'd just be saving the gas. i.e. ensuring that I'd have enough to get to get to my destination. Once the Garmin RXP is programmed, and the SF340 is started via AutoStart, am I good to taxi at that point? Thanks. Crash

What happed to the support forum for LES (SAAB 340A)?
Crash replied to Crash's topic in General Discussion
Thanks, for the link. -
What guide? Could you post a link? (I don't come around here that often, so please pardon my ignorance.) Crash

The last time I was here, there was a "Support" forum for all the makes and models of aircraft, LES being one of them. I was just wondering what happened to that forum. Thanks. Crash

Thanks N1K and Cameron for all your help. Much appreciated.

Thanks for sharing mmerelles. Is it just a one time fee at the time of purchase? and By chance are you using a simBrief custom a/c profile? And if you are, does it (the output from simBrief,) match iGo's weights and other numbers? Thx

I stand corrected, I meant to say the Garmin 530...So, as far as the Garmin is concerned, is pax weight a factor, as I don't believe it takes into account pax weight...

Ok, thanks Just you let you, (and everyone else,) know, I couldn't find any of the data like the information listed on page 17 (link to pdf in initial post) It could be I missed it.... If you find it in the "Charts" pdf please let me know.

What page of the manual are they on?
-
What "data sets" for lack of a better term, are you using for the Weights they are referencing? Thanks.
-
On Page 17 it lists the weights of the Saab 340 A and I was wondering if these weights and specs were a correct reflection of the LES 340 A... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=2ahUKEwiCj9aOyr3pAhVFrJ4KHYKOCcIQFjAAegQICBAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.saabaircraftleasing.com%2Fprod%2FdataSheets%2F340Brochure.pdf&usg=AOvVaw1IETUxOv4lSxzZISzdHj11 Thanks in advance, Crash

I'm wondering if there is a Weight and Balance Load Manager included with the Saab 340 A, and if there isn't what would be a reasonable PAX weight? Or does PAX weight figure into the FMS at all, and the 230 pounds set over at simBrief, is fine. Thanks, Crash

Thanks for the clarification. I tried modifying my upper left hat switch to something like yours, but the result was when I moved any of the modified positions of the hat switch, it activated the Better PushBack plugin: "Tell me where you want to go." So...I'll see how my solution works out....using Plane Command to control the items on the center pedestal.
-
Here's an Idea...and my solution for heading and course and all that: I use PlaneCommand to control the parameters down on the Center Console. Currently I use it to input the Squawk Code and Altimeter. I'm using the Samson Q2U microphone, which is relatively inexpensive, in the world of microphones, considering what what a high end mic goes for. After cruising various websites, it is unclear whether or not this mic is still available for purchase... Crash

Do you know of a way that I could bind VS and Heading to either the keyboard or joystick, and why is it considered "trickier?" @michael80082I did go to YouTube and look at a video or two, with one even in French, not that I understood a word of it, but X-mapper TNG as far as I could tell, seems to be a moving map, with the ability to adjust your freq's. But I didn't see anything having to do with an autopilot... And just out of curiosity, what controller are you using? Thx

I''d love to bind crs1 crs2 and heading and VS. I'd think doing that would be infinitely easier than having to take my eyes away from the normal position, (front and forward, looking out the windshield.) I'd be interested to hear how others are handling this delicate situation. I've already crashed because I've had to divert my attention to fiddle with the v/s or heading. I'm using the Saitek, (ca. 2013) X52. Thanks in advance, Crash

I bound the "Y" key for "Yaw Damper" If I'm not mistaken...The thing is, "Y" is bound in X-Plane 11 to "Yoke Visibility" or "Hide Yoke." My question is, has that key binding been changed as a global setting or locally, just in the Saab? Thanks, Crash

I was wondering if there was a TOGA button, or if the CTOT L and R switches fulfill that purpose. Thanks, Crash.

Thanks I give it a try and let you know.

I was flying the tutorial flight, via GPS, (obviously) and the pink dot to the left of KBOS never advanced to PUT. (the next waypoint.) My question is: how do you make PUT the active waypoint? Thanks Crash
