[SOLVED] CRJ-200 installed then x-plane crashed

I'm having a similar issue. I have x-plane v9.5x something original on store bought package. It loads fine, but I get an error that the CRJ aircraft file is corrupt and it will not load. I updated to v9.69 and now x-plane crashes to desktop. I un/re-installed both programs and I don't have any planes/plugins other than the defaults. Also, the hardware tester said that the crj will work and I uninstalled it prior to installing the above. Thanks for your help. Core2duo e6850 4 gigs ram GeForce GTS 8800 with latest drivers
