  1. Ye, you are right Morten! There is some restriction on the usage of the CTR pump on ground. But this is only a procedural restriction. Technically it possible to feed the APU from the CTR tank. Here is an extract for you from the Boeing FCOM concerning CTR pump usage: "If extended APU operation is needed on the ground, position an AC operated fuel pump ON. If fuel is loaded in the center tank, position the left center tank fuel pump switch ON to prevent a fuel imbalance before takeoff. CAUTION: Center tank fuel pump switches should be positioned ON only if the fuel quantity in the center tank exceeds 453 kgs. CAUTION: Do not operate the center tank fuel pumps with the flight deck unattended." Cheers, Tamas
  2. Mmerelles, that's a good and perfect summary of the fuel pumps logic. Just too small addititions: If you turn on the Left CTR pump only, it is the only source that pressurizes the left side of the fuel manifold (no need to switch on the LH main pump). Therefore, the APU will draw fuel from the ctr tank. To be a perfectionist,: if you open the the crossfeed valve and turn on the right CTR pump, the whole manifold will be pressurized and voila, the APU will use ctr tank fuel (follow the scheme drawing by Morten.) I like your professionalism, cheers, Tamas P.s sorry for my typos it is late night here in Europe
  3. Hi Guys, In rw, to avoid fuel imbalance on the ground and with fuel in CTR tanks it is a recommended practice to switch on the LH CTR Pump switch and feed the APU from the CTR tank. With ixeg 737 the APU always uses fuel from the left main tank regardles of switch positions. (Dear mod, if it is Lufthansa specific, please delete my post !) Cheers, Tamas
  4. Many thanks Jan, that shows the definite limits of my aviation knowledge! Tamas
  5. Ok, many thanks Morten. Again: never heard a logic like this, but I'm always open to learn something new. It would be interesting to know what airline used this. Cheers, Tamas
  6. No altitude alerter function with A/P ON? Alt. alert during manual flight when you are approaching MCP altitude too fast??? Never heard/learned/seen of such a logic in my RW experience including the Boeing family! Your opinion dear RW captains? tamas
  7. It took a couple of flights with ixeg 737 that I realized that I did not have altitude alerter function. No lights, no sounds, absolutely nothing. Is it a known issue or ...? Cheers, tamas
  8. Many thanks for the quick response. Promising! Cheers, Tamas
  9. Hi Dear Guys, After a couple of hours in the LH seat of IXEG 737: great product, deep system simulation, great details, really deep immersion, etc. Remarkable simulation with a great future potential to it! Congrats devs! What I noticed during my very first flights (sorry if these have been brought up before): - the RH GEN DRIVE OIL TEMP gauge (CSD Drive) always indicates zero - not a real problem just a nuisance when I do my OVHD panel scan. - the engine oil press is very low, in the yellow at idle speed, and at the bottom of the green arc at cruise power settings which is not the case in rw - during takeoff the nose down pitch moment after liftoff (when you need that famous "second pull" is bit too pronounced Looking forward to further refinments, all the best, Tamas
