  1. Why isn't this thread locked already? I got my refund, case closed.
  2. Then what is the crux of the issue exactly?
  3. I'm a 15+ years software developer under Linux, I can confirm that Similar story with PilotEdge Linux client, I raised the issue and after a while Keith who is quite competent across multiple OSes was able to compile it on Linux (initially on my machine after NDA) and since then we have it on Linux. Now I do not know how SkyMaxx Pro is architected internally, but given it already has a Mac port suggests that porting to Linux might not be all that difficult. If the developers are willing to let me give it a try (after NDA), I can see if a Linux port is possible given my free time.
  4. and I haven't heard back from support, how long do they usually take to respond?
  5. Nope, absolutely no information is given on OS compatibility.
  6. Thanks I sent email to support. The product page should have mentioned required OS. Hopefully Linux would be supported at some point in the future.
  7. I tried contacting support for this issue but got no reply. I only found 3 files in the install, one mac, one windows, and the 3rd I can only assume is Linux, but I couldn't get it to work, it uses some sort of Tcl scripting and it refuses to start. Any pointers? This is the error I'm getting jasem@jasem-kubuntu:~/Downloads/XPlane/SkyMaxx Pro 3.3.1$ ./dist ./dist: 2: ./dist: package: not found ./dist: 3: ./dist: starkit::bd2T7FWWGbQmn2kAJkAbiKOb: not found ./dist: 4: ./dist: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
