Well folks, i must say i truly enjoy X plane, but i will be honest with you. i have been using FSX for years.
And i occasionally used X plane when i had problems with FSX.
When FSX died in 2006 , when they fired all of the folks at Microsoft. Fsx went by the wayside. Other developers took over and did there best to keep it up and running.
I decided to go fully with X plane , and i really started to enjoy X -plane , when Hotstart came out with the TBN 900.
That was a plane like no other. I have been siming for 25 plus years and that plane i have enjoyed the most.
Even PDMG , did not impress me like that plane did.
But i always missed FSX for some reason.
So what does Microsoft do, they are coming out with a sim that looks impossible to pull off. I mean if they are serious about what they are about to release.
I'm talking about FSX 2020.
From what im seeing in the Sim, I cannot wait for the release. If it does what they claim that this sim will do.
X plane you are in trouble. I believe even hardcore X planers will make the switch just to see if its real....
... i know i will be shot down for my half a cents worth of blabbing, but i have been flying sims longer than most of you folks age.
I'm older than dirt, so i can take it.

Well Robert, this post didn't age very well, huh? Lol. I bought FS2020, and it wasn't long before I got rid of it. It is a horrible sim. Planes look, feel and fly like cartoons. It is more for GAMERS, than REAL SIM guys. Because it's all eye candy, and no real flight physic's or dynamics. Sorry, but XP11 is heads and shoulders better than FS20, and that doesn't even start with all the problems FS20 has with soooooooooo many systems, and there is NO VR!!! XP11 does NOT need to worry about FS20., because XP11 is extremely realistic flying, the ability to invent a plane, and test if it will actually fly in the real world in XP11 AND fly in VR. FS20 will NEVER have any of that. It's just eye candy with not much "real" flying involved.

Has anything been done about this? Just bumping the thread to find out the latest on this problem.

To not make it?
Yes. The auto throttle solves so many problems with what I've read on the forums that people have with this throttle, and there are some really neat features in the upgraded models 930 and 940.

I think that is a really bad move on the part of the devs...

I would also like a valid Discord invite please. Thanks.

This is a bug, and needs to be addressed in the support forum. The direct button should work just like activating a leg does.

what i would really like to see, and should have been done already, as it's one of the most common sense things to have in an aircraft simulator, is an OWNER MODE, like in the Accu-Sim A2A Skyhawk 172, and it's associated ACCU-SIM expansion pack. there you can act like an aircraft owner, keeping up with logs, maintenance and other tasks the owners have to deal with in real life. parts actually degrade with time and stress, and operator actions can speed that degradation up, or slow it down, just like in real life. there is a maintenance hanger, where you can go to take things apart, and see what needs to be replaced, and what is running well. you can also upgrade the radio and navigation stack. it is such a logical thing for a flight simulator to have within it.
lastly, i would like to see IFR FLIGHT TRAINING. it would be great if your flight sim could do MORE to help with your gaining further certificates. i'm not saying it should be OFFICIALLY rated, but being able to have a ground school, and practical flight training, like microsoft flight sim use to have (don't know if they still do), is just logical in my opinion. hope this helps. i would love to see these changes.

hi guys,
been looking for a while for photoreal scenery for the carolina's. both south and north carolina are some of the most beautiful places to fly in the entire country, and yet i rarely ever see anyone develop them. so if anyone has a desire, i know that there are many, many pilots who would love to add this to their xplane collection. thanks in advance.

Why would you type that you solved your problem, but not list what was causing it, or how you fixed it??? Ya know, to help others who might find themselves with the same problem...
