I tried that to no avail. Camaron sorted it for me but says it's an issue with write permissions.

I have opened a ticket too and posted my log files. Waiting for a response.

I'm not using steam btw. so that's ok.

I can try, I'm a bit worried that this may affect other third party addons. I did find an XA-Activation.lua file in plugins all in machine code.

Hi Ben, I have XPlane installed in Programs(x86). There is an XAviation File but this only has two files in, Uninstall and Unistall Data. So no license file. Rik

Hi Cameron, I appreciate your quick reply over the festive period. I am using Windows 10 which is set to synchronize automatically. I have checked and manually synchronized anyway. I reinstalled but Skymax still wont activate. I can go to Gizmo and try also. I get the Activation Successful, Enjoy message every time but also get the Please Activate message every time too. If I unistall my default weather comes back. The Please Activate box seems to have a greyed out password already typed in which is longer than my actual password, I have tried both to activate. There is a machine ID number too. Still no luck though. Frustrated Rik

I have just installed Skymax Pro using their installer and the activation screen appears, asking me to input my details which I do and then another screen appears saying "activation successful" although the "input you details to activate" screen also keeps appearing like I have to activate it every time I use xplane. When the product does activate all my clouds dissapear so no weather at all.
