  1. I also meant to ask what type of fps that you get and how high are your settings? I had heard that Linux has some of the best framerates possible? compared to windows/apple with similar hardware? True? John
  2. Thank you very much guys for your help. I plan on trying it again soon with your input. John
  3. Whenever you get it set up, please let me know how you did it. I downloaded Linux and downloaded the x-plane Linux beta from their website and I was never able to get it to work. I would be interested in what version of Linux you plan on using and how you got it to work. Thanks so much. John
  4. Herb: Let us know how the framerates work for you on the new setup. Thanks. John
  5. Thanks Eric. I look forward to checking out these links you have provided. John

  8. I am just curious - Was x-plane originally designed (Laminar Research) on a windows or mac machine? John
  9. Thanks for the info Cameron. Looking forward to it down the road. John
  10. I forgot to mention in my previous post to please consider having an addon to your other sceneries with the night addition. It would be well worth paying more to add those on. Thanks for your consideration. John
  11. Congrats guys! That will be a great addition to your scenery. John
  12. You are torturing us with screenshots like these! I cannot wait until this plane is available. Incredible work guys! John
  13. Would it be possible to add American Airlines to the list? John
  14. Just to let you know, I purchased them and have not regretted it one bit. It adds a new dimension to flying. I just wish they had more of the states. John
  15. Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. John
  16. I was just curious if there was a projected release date on this plane? John
  17. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. John
  18. I have really enjoyed your work. Looking to the future (hopefully, you plan on continuing to do more real scenery places), because of the large files sizes, I would suggest putting the name of the state first and then the particular region of the state (ex. Tennessee-Nashville versus just Nashville). That way, if hard drive space became an issue, the particular areas of a state would be grouped together if I had to remove them temporary to load another real scenery state. Right now, I have a very large hard drive but if you'll continue to create more real scenery and I hope to purchase them, it might eventually become an issue for me and others. Just a thought. John PS Looking forward to your next real scenery place
  19. That is great!! I am looking forward to the release. Thanks for the update. John
  20. I am using 9.x and the plugin is loaded correctly but still no xsb text line. I can connect with xsb though just cannot type anything without the text line. Thanks for the ideas. John
  21. Can anyone help. No one seems to know the answer. I fly most of my flights online (vatsim) and I use squawkbox when I fly online. Unfortunately, I am not able to use the 737 on the eadt website to fly online since the squawkbox text line does not come up to text ATC (I use text-not voice). It comes up fine with the other planes that I use when flying online. I am not sure what the difference is. I use an intel mac if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help that anyone can offer. John
  22. Wynthorpe: When you say the PMDG737, what exactly to you mean? John
  23. Yes, it does. Thanks. Also, just looked at the Tennessee pics-looks great. John
