XFMC now gone . Deleted EFASS and downloaded again but having same problem --- new flight plan egcc to egll and -- export into the IXEG 737 and still the FMC does not show the way points --- will only show 2 which are HON and another one ---- !!! Very frustrating to say the least !!! -

Still not exporting --- I created a new flight plan egcc to eglc and pressed export in efass --- you will see that it did not export the legs ??? Also why is LUA still showing in the plug ins when I have deleted form my hard drive ?? And could this be causing the problem This what I do press menu press fmc press pos in on lsr and put the position in the scratchpad then I press route and in wycliffes tutorial a line of empty boxes appear and you are suposed to put the pos from the scratchpad into the lsr which fills these boxes with the pos --- but the empty boxes do notr show on my fmc type in destination egcc and press top left for airport type in eglc and press lsr for destination which fills in the boxes type in egcceglc and press co route lsl and save then ececute and the whole flight plan shoud be there but all I get on therte page is HON and DTY and none of the legs -- the whole thing is weirder and weirder -

That is exactly what I have been doing and it never appears in the co route folder in the IXEG 737 ---- I press export in EFASS and it should automatically export to the 737 -

I typed your suggestion into EFASS for the path -- I put the 737 into the x-aviation folder --- still says file not found ( not showing on this attachment but I replaced the one shown ) The other thing is that on Wycliffe Barretts video he says Press menu Press FMC Press pos in Then I think you type into the scratchpad your departure AP and add that to top left -- this gives you co ordinates of where you are -- click the co-ords on the right and they appear in the scratchpad and then there should be empty boxes where you put the co ordinates from the scratchpad ----- well , I never see these empty boxes --- might this be a clue --- if I cant get this sorted I will just give up on x plane until x plane 11 is released and start over ---- how on earth will we move all our sceneries like the Horizon UK scenery and all of the payware AC , the free AC and free sceneries into x plane 11 --- and there is another whole question !!! -

I have tried to export a flight plan from efass into the FMS and although it says export complete the it says in the FMS file not found ???

I really do not think that the blinking on and off of the heading ,speed , altitude etc windows will be in a manual nor the fact that the AC would not move when parking brake was on and power was increasing and that at one point only one of the thrust levers would advance by using the throttle lever on my throttle quadrant and this happened after I couldn`t move forward --- both throttles were working then ---- I have been reading manuals which are a great help and I have seen a lot of youtube videos --- but I believe ( and I could be wrong of course ) that these problems are problems with the AC model itself --- bugs in other words --- hey ho ---- I`ll see what happens when the hotfix 1.0.3 is ready and with us !!!

Had enough ---- lost count of the number of hours that I have wasted so far . Today -----loaded EGLL to EGCC into FMC No 1. Couldn`t find a SID for 27 R in the FMC No. 2.Thought I would dep 09L --- INVALID ENTRY So back for 27 R dep how can I save that plan as a company route ? No 3. Taxied out to 27 R where I decided I would set up the AP ---- stopped at one point then tried to continue and it would not maove as though the brakes were on --- fiddled and fiddled eventually was able to move No. 4 The windows for speed , heading etc etc etc were blinking on and off and was totally unable to tune any heading or speeds or anything else Pressed exit . I am trying really hard to fly this AC but whenever I do something else goes wrong . I have not downloaded the patch because I am afraid of it doing what it did last time and I had to redownload and reinstall the AC all over again . I will not be rude and start shouting again --- but I have come up against yet another brick wall --- 75 dollars spent plus what I spent on a manual that I didn`t want or need and despite the fact that in law you usually have 7 days cool off period and refunds should be accepted within the 7 days I wonder if this applies to downloads so I am stuffed --- and I wouldn`t actually mind if Cameron asked me for another £ 5.00 to be upgraded to the hard copy version --- but no --- I am just left hanging --- sorry guys to be moaning yet again --- but I have had enough and I am usually a very patient and fair kind of person .

I downloaded EDDM -- truly magnificent ---- but now I can`t find my x plane discs and I had not loaded Germany x plane scenery so the airport is surrounded by water ------ can`t find my discs apart the one which is already in the disc drive ---- and that scenery is on disc 4 ---- can I download scenery from the x plane site ? someone directed me to alpilot --- if I download from there do I need the original scenery that would have come with x plane or will the alpilot be stand alone scenery that does not need anything underneath it ?? And is this the scenery which Osamah is flying over ?? Sorry to be such a plank losing my discs --- they are here SOMEWHERE !!!

I will be downloading the airport today --- but what I still don`t know is what scenery he is flying over after departure from EDDM --- any ideas please ? Many thanks for your help .

First of all I find myself in a position where I must retract on certain posts . Just had time to look at the web page selling the ixeg 737 and i notice that it mentions down near the bottom of the page that manuals and tutorials are included in documentation --- call me old fashioned but i would be looking for these under " manuals " and or " tutorials " ------ i have spent most of my time since I converted to X Plane flying the 172 VFR --- I used to fly jets IFR when I was using FS98 and FS X --- in FS 98 ( may be wrong with the edition number it`s son long ago ) we had something like EFASS and Plan G and you could fly the flight plan including SIDS and STARS using the AP and it was something I got used to --- but in X Plane it was different and I did venture into IFR in X Plane on VATSIM and I found myself floundering and with not enough time to enter a new learning curve and never enough time to fly the hours that I used to fly -- so -- I went back to VFR and the 172 and mostly on VATSIM I was flying circuits . The ixeg 737 has come along at just the right time for me --i have a little bit more time now to relearn ----- and now i have the need for manuals and tutorials whereas I didn`t before --- let me say that the ixeg 737 is absolutely stunning in every way possible --- and I am hoping that the patch has fixed most of the teething problems although I am reluctant to download and apply because of my experiences last week . I hope that they can sell 25,000 copies which is $ 1,875,000 --- that would really put them in business and god knows what they could do then ----- don`t know --- is 25,000 overstretched --- they do deserve to sell that number because it is easily one of the best FS AC ever produced ! FMC --- I didn`t realize that you have to use the slash key to enter the OAT ie \ 55 --- but i understand that you don`t have to use the + or - key so i don`t know how the FMC knows whether the OAT is plus or minus . I couldn`t confirm the v speeds --- and then I did something which enabled me to do so --- don`t know what it was that I had not entered ---- probably an incorrect wieght or something -- will persevere with this and report back when I know what I did wrong . Route --- was entering egcc to egll --- unable to enter HON so had to miss that fix off ---- will try to find out where I went wrong with that one and report back if I find out what was wrong . There are some very very good videos on YOUTUBE now ----- there was one by Osamah Alabdullah ---- I think he was flying out of a german airport ( think it was Munich ) and much of his flight was at night ----- he was asked on YOUTUBE what the scenery was but answered he would post another video about scenery next week --- does anyone know what the scenery was because it was stunning ? I am still annoyed about being charged for the Mike Ray Download Manual --- I would have eagerly paid more for a hard copy if they had refunded but to buy a hard copy now will mean that I have paid far too much --- even if they had charged me for an upgrade it would have been ok --- anyway -- I will think twice before I buy form them again . This is what I have done --- I opened up the tutorials and copied without the pictures manually to save printer ink and paper and printed on something like half the pages ---- could I help by posting these pages or would that be infringeing copyright ? What I may do is to issue a tutorial in list form like i did before by using Mike Rays tutorials --- they are on the org site somewhere . It will be a quick guide with a sample route . I must spend more time learning how to enter fuel etc etc --- I think i have got the route thing sorted --- oh yes ---- how do you enter a hold in the FMC if asked by ATC to hold when for instance you are near your destination . Saw a video yesterday --- a TBM being flown to airport in Florida for an annual check and some ---- and I sat there thinking how much I miss RW flying --- so --- thank god for X Plane and the ixeg 737 --- well worth the 6 years wait ---- HATS OFF TO IXEG AND THE TEAM ---- Jans tutorials are excellent although a closer view of the FMS would have been helpful when entering information !

There was another post I just found in X plane forums but couldn't paste - anyway it was the post that I read saying that manual was not specific to this AC -- will copy and post later just for the record . Another post from the X aviation team defending their sale of this Mike Ray manual by saying they had included it for sale because they just happened to get a discount for us -- so if they were buying at discount why would they only pass on the discount if you ordered the 737 and the manual at the same time ..... Move on you say .... No ..... Not until my questions have been answered and I am satisfied .... You don't like my posts .... Then ignore them and don't read them ... And you pooh pooh the NWO stuff ... Don't come crying to me when they come dragging you and your family out to the FEMA camps ... This has everything to do with this site and its members ..... I just want to live a quiet life and fly X plane as much as I can and I don't want to be seeing abrupt adverse changes to all of our lives ... I just want to see fair play and a level playing field which we don't have at the moment ... I also stand corrected .... One percent own more than sixty five percent in of everything !!! Look .... It's really simple .... The Chinese are in trouble economically .... So is America and the dollar is probably finished ... So what's the answer ... They all stick together under the umbrella of one centralised bank and one world government and then they must control everyone else and IMHO if we don't come out of Europe we will be under Federal control and much closer to NWO .... And I am sure that like myself you all want to see peace and quiet and be allowed to X plane your nuts off and be able to earn a decent wage away from zero hour contracts and short term contracts because if we are not earning decent wages we can't spend much more on this hobby and there is so much further to go especially I am hoping with scenery Fs X has stunning photo real scenery .... X plane can't be far off matching that now ... And when do we get virtual 3 D air hostesses that we have to keep hidden from our wives !!!!!

See ... I am not imagining anything ..... This is the post that made me believe that the video tutorials etc were " hidden " and I am still looking for the post which said that manual was not specific to this 737 so that you know I am not hallucinating and making things up --- I am referring to what other people have posted. And as I have said --- they are very very good tutorials !! Jan did a lot of great tutorials. You can read the manuals of the plane while he is performing these tutorials on Youtube for you. But these are hidden videos. You need to go to your X-Plane 10\Aircraft\X-Aviation\IXEG 737 Classic\Documentation folder and open the Qucik-Start-Guides or Tutorials folder. Inside there are some PDF-files where at each beginning is a hidden youtube link. With these links you get to the Video-Tutorials. Jan did one Tutorial per PDF-File so you get there 4 Tutorial-Videos and 2 Quick-Start-Videos in wich Jan performs all what is described in these PDF-Files. So you are able to read the PDFs while following Jans Videos. Great isn't it? Philip

Allow me to explain --- you must not worry too much about the expression burrowing underground - It is my ambition to live in a property with a big basement and install 3 or 4 flight simulators -- so you won t need counselling sessions trying to work out what I meant about burrowing underground someone coming at me --- yes I have experienced this in many different ways --- apart from military experiences I got involved in a huge conspiracy -- my phones were being monitored -- tracking devices were planted on my car --- 187 avi files were deleted from my hard drive to slow down what we were doing either by satellite or by someone breaking into my office when I was working at Pinewood Studios --- this is not conspiracy theory --- these things happened to me -- it is a long time ago but it may still be relevant because we are about to potentially make a huge breakthrough which may possibly change everything for a lot of people Third World War -- yes it has already been planned and it is one of their options -- bit of common sense would explain why ! mistreated --- yes -- I wasn't t even offered a discount -- they took my money for something that I don t actually want psych evaluation -- you obviously don t know me and you have no idea what I have been through and you don t need to know nor do I need to tell you -- I am just waiting for God now because of my age and trying to leave some security behind for my wife and children I was a RW pilot 600 plus hours PPL , IMC RATING , NIGHT RATING , TWIN RATING , 6 hours on gliders , 31 parachute drops -- can no longer afford to fly so X plane helps fill the gap and I just wish that I had more time for flying on line I will say again --- this 737 is phenomenal -- my favourite AC ever was Derek Maltbys BAC 111 in fs but this 737 can easily take its place --- I went to work for the BBC for 6 months in southern Spain and went both ways on numerous occasions in the jump seat of a BAC 111 --- can t be done now because of 9/11 -- I worked on Bergerac for 2 years and flew jump seats quite often and did most of my PPL on Jersey --- flew twice down the Challenger landing strip in Florida in the 80 s ----- I was instucted by ATC to stay above 500 ft and to stay on the right of the centreline - you would t get anywhere near close to a place like that now psych evaluation --- we lost our father in a house fire in 1999 and our mother to cancer 4 years later , brought on by the shock --- still have my moments when I think about this but my sanity is very much still intact !!!! what may send me insane is what the Zionist bankers are doing to us all !!!! They are out for total control !!!

Shooting from the hip ------ yes I was trained to do just that at one point of my life ---- and what is wrong with healthy exchanges of opinion in any case ---- if you are talking about my complaints about the 777 --- I had every right to complain --- it was my money that was spent --- i have tried to be as polite as possible --- going back to shooting from the hip ---- it is partially my way of defence when I think that I have been mistreated or if someone is coming at me --- although in this case I don`t think that I was shooting from the hip ---- I really really do not take too kindly to being called mad ----- I have been round the block quite a few times and managed to survive with my sanity intact ---- you still have the distance to go --- and if Third World War does strike ( and I hope that it does not ) you will then probably find out for yourself what can potentially send someone stark bonking mad --- but no --- I came through my trails and tribulations and no I am not mad in any way ---- just an ordinary bloke on the verge of something that may transpire as truly breath taking and that is when I will probably burrow underground and have 3 or 4 different simulators built and if anyone wishes to call me mad for staying down there flying all day and listening to the icelandic rock band Kaleo at volume 11 ---- am I bovvered ----- but if none of this happens and my plans fall through I`ll just soldier on --- but it won`t drive me mad --- I`ll have a search through my history now to see what other mischief I have been up to !!!! And as for Fchiari ---- you don`t know me --- so you have no idea what my abilities are ---- yes I can read and write for your information ---- you have no idea why I am being critical ------ what more can I say !!!

Below are the e mail exchanges between x aviation and myself . This is my position . I believed that we needed the manual that was being sold on their site . What I didn`t know because it was not being made transparent was that there are adequate IMHO tutorials and video`s buried in the x plane folders and here`s how to find them : open the x plane folders aircraft X-Aviation IXEG 737 Classic Documentation There you will find 4 quick start Guides 5 tutorials and other stuff if you open 5 tutorials you will find 4 more tutorials --- if for instance you open the basic FMS and navigation file scroll down to Resources and there is a link to the buried / hidden video tutorial which you follow using the printed instructions on the page and Jan will even make references to the correct pages in the video ---- couldn`t be easier could it --- forgive me if I am wrong but why but the downloadable manual when most of it is here to be found quite easily . Because of the position taken by X-Aviation I will think twice and definitely more carefully before I ever buy anything from them again . I would also advise you all to first of all try out the freeware 737 which may be out this weekend --- I think it is an NG with glass cockpit --- there is a fantastic video on Youtube showing this AC during 2 flights and I was very very impressed --- don`t much like glass cockpits --- I was trained RW on Cessnas and Pipers and a Beech Duchess Twin and an Aztec Twin --- all steam gauges --- no glass in site --- I believe that you need to buy an FMC sperately but this is only $ 20.00 I think . Well --- they have definitely alienated me from their customer base . Shame because without all of the glitches and bugs I am sure that the 737 will be an absolute winner for a lot of people ---- but like I have said ---- possible you won`t need the manual --- and can anyone tell us if this manual is specific to the model of 737 please ? Now I have seen where all of the tutorials and documentation are hidden I no longer think that the 737 was not good value for money --- but I`ll say it again --- I believe that the tutorial is a waste of money --- pity for Mike Ray because he writes such fantastic books/manuals/tutorials and I had a great time chatting with him when he was at the Flight Sim show many years ago in Blackpool . I am using x plane 10.42 with Horizon/RC Simulations UK Photographic Scenery --- have tried using the replacement night lights from isdg but at night it is just dark and the only lighting visible is from airports --- would I be correct in saying that these lights do not work with this uk scenery because there is no lighting with this package and would I be right in thinking that I would have to overlay the UK Pro scenery package or the other package with roads etc to make the lighting show --- the problem that I have with the GB UK Pro scenery and the other roads package is that the buidlings and roads do look cartoony IMHO --- wouold appreciate some help please ------ on Wycliffe Barretts blog he uses Horizon photo scenery and the night lighting shows on this video ?????
