I’m testing SkyMaxx 3.3.2 and Real Weather Connector on X-Plane 11 and I have the same problem. Until now I had not problems on X-Plane 10. Specs: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015). 4 Ghz Intel Core i7, 36 GB RAM, AMD Radeon M395X 4096 MB VRAM.
