  1. I just purchased your beautiful Fox Islands scenery and while it all works well, the elevation of 6Y3 and North Fox are at sea level, when they should be at about 639 ft. ASL. The result is that Lake Michigan rises up to 600 ft. around the island. South Island is fine.

Is there a fix coming? Or a fix I can make locally?

    X-Plane 11.26r2 (build 112601 64-bit) under Windows 10

    Thanks.

  2. Thanks for the tips sundog. I've been playing around with settings and I can get decent (decent for X-Plane that is, which appears to have inherent cloud coverage and layering limitations when compared to FSX) stormy weather when I configure it manually, otherwise I'm having disappointing results when using XP11's built-in real world weather engine.

For example, today I'm looking at current storm maps for the US which is showing significant activity in the upper Midwest, however selecting an XP11 airport in the heart of such activity is giving me mixed results. Maybe the METARS are slow to update? Or maybe I need to look into an alternative real world weather reader? Not sure what's going on.

Thanks again for the fantastic products--wouldn't fly without them. :)

  3. I'm using Skymaxx Pro 4.0, real weather and Real Weather Connector with X-Plane 11 under Windows 10 and while the results are beautiful I'm realizing that I never see a full, dark overcast.

For example, I live in Chicago and we're currently experiencing heavy thunderstorms with plenty of lightning and rain. While KCGX in XP11 is receiving real weather and it's showing lightning and and heavy rain, per the attached screenshot the Skymaxx sky yet looks like a cheerful summer day with just a few cloud puffs in the sky (not what I'm seeing when I look out the window here in Chicago).

I've tried various Skymaxx Pro settings, but nothing gives me a true overcast under any conditions, especially a dark overcast. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

  4. I have got the following RealScenery products installed in my Custom Scenery folder:

    Washington
    Oregon
    Tucson
    Reno
    Phoenix
    Arizona
    Oahu

While I really enjoy this FANTASTIC scenery, I trying to figure out how these folders may best be organized in the scenery_packs.ini file, but unfortunately it is difficult to tell from the names of the scenery folders which folders are associated with which products, Would it be possible to get a listing of the folders associated with each product and their optimal order in the hierarchy?

I have looked through the accompanying documentation and see no such listing.

I have also opened a help ticket concerning this (Ticket #WT6MZ), but have not heard back yet.

I have also opened a help ticket requesting that the downloads for the purchased products be made available again (Ticket #7VUX7).

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
  5. Love it! X-Plane has needed something like this for a long time. Thank you!

Question: I hear the awesome ambient airport sounds while externally viewing my Carenado Cessna Grand Caravan, but don't hear them while inside the cockpit, even with the doors & windows open. Is this by design? Can it be changed?

    Thanks again!  :)

  6. I've been playing X-Plane 10 since October of this year and all of the sudden all of my 3D cockpit views have become crooked, tilted about 15 degrees down right. I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions? (see screenshots).

FYI, I just noticed that external views are crooked too (see screenshot)

    Thanks.
