About the thrust levers, afaik i did set the thrust limit as explained in the tutorial to 90.5%.
I had both two of the thrust levers at the same position, on my CH throttle and in the models throttle but the right engine
was redlining while the left one stayed within limits.
FYI the CH Quadrant has six levers, normally used for throttles, mixture and pitch.

First impressions after the tutorial flight. Didn't read all manuals yet.
I'll skip the good points since they would take to much screen space (nice plane!)
Some little things i noticed:
- APU sound is either low quality or the apu on the crj just sounds strange.
- Reversers (as noticed by others)
- On my CH Quadrant throttle, I could push the right engine through it's "performance limits". I was redlining constantly.
- Personally I find the drag buttons for the nav-source, map range and mfd modes not user friendly. Maybe a cycle button would be better.
- I could not get two popups next to each other (probably a case of rtfm).
-
I bought it, but it was late here so i'll try it tonight. Docs are better than the an-24 and glancing it over the plane seems a tad simpler to handle. I hope he keeps making russian retro planes.

Just out of curiosity, but could you give a glimpse of what was added to the model after its state of "near completeness" in the end of January?

..and the 30-40 years old guys that know how to programm...
Somebody called me?

Nice clean, almost chiseled design. I hope it is as much a pleasure for my ears as it is for my eyes.
Kudos.

BN-2 Islander or the Quest Kodiak. Maybe the DH Caribou
Would love to do this kind of crazy stuff:

hehe, I was pondering to make an Eclipse. An acquaintance of me recently bought two Eclipses and that would give me easy access to all the info I'd need to build a model.
Good luck!

I'm from Oosterbeek, near Arnhem and Hof van Saxen is in Nooitgedacht, Drenthe.
-
I would like to, but I have an obligatory family meet in 'Hof van Saxen' (poche holiday park). The 1.5 hour drive to and from Lelystad is a wee bit to long.

...What do you think?
You're a master of image clipping ;D
It looks definitely better than before, may you should repaint the underlaying ground texture by hand so it better blends with the surroundings and objects?
Also, adding grass around the runways is always a nice feature I saw in FSX and also try to soften the edges of all the runways so things get really "grounded" in their surroundings if you understand what I mean?

Alibre (the personal edition) looks interesting, i've been looking for a more accurate modeler than Silo. Does it export to obj?

Yeah, yeah. But my PC has TrackIr ( Booomm Headshot ;D )
I have both a PC & Mac on my desk. Both are just tools for doing the job. I'm more productive on the clunky PC than on that reality distorting thing called a Mac. But that is due to historical reasons and me not being a hipster or a genius.
-
Somehow the lighting of the textures seem a bit off, maybe it's just me.
For F16 lover who want to obliterate stuff virtually (what's the point of a fighter jet anyway?), the word on the street is that Graphsim is busy with a port of Fallon 4 Allied Force to the Mac.

The ultimate man cave ;D
I love it when people follow their heart. Good work.

Iniesta was not offside, but a few seconds before another Spanish player was, iirc from the comments last evening.
I looked it up and it is a very fuzzy situation:
No need to f*ck ants (splitting hairs in Dutch) over it. The Spanish team was better, more fluent and have better hairstyles. ;D
-
Right before the last, and winning, goal a Spanish player was offside. Too bad it was not noticed by an arbiter...maybe we could have won the cup with the penalty shooting.
However, I have to admit the Spanish team played far more coherent and a tiny bit less foul. A well deserved victory.

Neat, but why as a PDF?
I wouldn't mind to pay for an upgraded & refined MU-2 though.

Hi,
After installing Gizmo ( I bought the Falco ) I was wondering if the installation could be simplified.
Instead of letting the user install OpenAl & pThreads separately isn't it better to just add the OpenAl.dll & pthreadsGC2.dll to the directory of the windows plugin?
I know from experience that it works with the openal.dll, however I'm not sure about the pthreadsGC2.dll since I never used that one in my projects.
Just my 2c.

Again interesting, thanks for answering. It clarifies a lot.
Release you're most looking forward to...
