The C185 is definitely one of the best bush planes for x-plane. Be however prepared to practice taxiing, cause this thing is a beast to maneuver on the ground

If you're running windows it's most likely what Tonka pointed out. I have experienced a few times that if x-plane crashes it doesn't kill all processes correctly. Go to task manager and kill x-plane and the pnkbuster.exe process (or something similar to that, can't remember the exact name).
