  1. thnx will give it a try regards tom
  2. Javier, Phillip, just to try if this will work - with BEACON ON OFF it works as test. To try it with your datarefs please give me only the datarefs (included the values): - HSI source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS (the one where you have to scroll the mouse over the complete CP to change between NAV1 NAV2 FMC before you release the complete list Thnx and Regards Tom
  3. Thank you phillip and javier, I would try it first with the following datarefs: - HSI source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS - Map source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS - DME source VOR1 VOR2 ADF1 ADF2 - MAP Display - MAP Range Regards Tom
  4. Ok but what app is ment by phillipe saying he knows 2 apps from the .org downloads with that I am able to adress your datarefs to keystrokes. Regards Tom
  5. Oh man so why do you do not help me with a hint which can solve the problem. It is your policy and your business of how you work and support - just do it like you want but allow critic, questions, wishes etc. You have to face this if you go to payware. And please do not get personal concerning screaming loud, please. Regards Tom
  6. No. X-Plane 9 unfortunately does not allow for assigning keystrokes to datarefs directly (see below for a workaround). However, datarefs is the central concept to ALL input/output to X-Plane. To make the CRJ accessible to owners of home cockpit hardware providing all the datarefs is the ONLY practical solution. I simply cannot program drivers for all the hardware that is out there: Saitek, VRInsight, OpenCockpits, GoFLight, etc... I would need to buy ALL those, and retire for five more years to come up with a CRJ compatible to all of them - and the CRJ would have to be sold for like $500 then. Hardware owners are a FEW - but the costs for developing for all this hardware would have to be paid by ALL customers, 95% of which don't own a switchpanel - pretty unfair, don't you think? By publishing the all the datarefs, hardware interface can be created by people who physicly have the hardware, if there is a sufficient interest. I have no problem if someone takes all the datarefs and writes a fully CRJ-aware Saitek-driver and sells it. I would encourage it! And for those who would simply like to use the keyboard, there is also a workaround: There are several free plugins (i know of two, which can be downloaded at the org) that allow for assigning datarefs to keystrokes (which X-Plane itself, as already said, doesn't). Philipp Hi Phillip If you do know a such a working plugin please give me a hint I do not know it? It is very strange how you refuse to work on it. Neither Ramzzess or Felis or Shade Tree are acting like this - strange policy - of course your policy you are the author. But of course I do not know how your plugin is working - maybe it is much more difficult to create those buttons as in SASL. If I had a plugin for the workaround taht would be ok for me. Regards Tom
  7. ok I have hundrets of sounds in my cinema audio libs and I did not take your original one what I took was a file with much less of this rythmic skiding tire sound. I do not take this serious - it was just for fun cause I am in the middle of cinema sounddesign - with a lot of jets But cause you ask me so kindly I will remove the link that you can go on selling your breathtaking sounds. regards tom
  8. I did a little mix with the custom sound from Andrzej and Javiers original sound. Here you have javiers rattle sound and Andrzej bass rolling. I also enhanced a bit the deep bass for shaking your moms house. Regards Tom A. ask me kindly to remove that sound cause he sees his copyright touched for this breathtaking recording of bass rolling with rythimc tire squeeking. Regards Tom
  9. Hmm Javier does this mean I am able to assign to keystrokes via the xplane keystroke page? Or to joystickbuttons on my Saitek hardware? Sorry I do not understand your answer properly. Regards Tom
  10. Let's say like this: I myself do not like to move all around a Cockpit with the mouse. Less as possible is what I would appreciate. Regards Tom
  11. We will see it after releasing version 1.1 Regards Tom
  12. Hi, I thought it might be helpfull to bring this question up to a new topic, to see if there are otheres who wolud like some keystrokes or joystick buttons to. I am asking for some important custom buttons / keystrokes which are difficult to manipulate or which have to manipulate while dealing with ATC - and alone in cockpit - as always :-) I would love to have the following custom buttons / keystrokes as this cannot anymore asigned to the default buttons / keystrokes - maybe other user could add something to this list: - HSI source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS - Map source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS - DME source VOR1 VOR2 ADF1 ADF2 - MAP Display - MAP Range tbc. Regards Tom BTW is it possible to write entries into the scratchpad on the fmc using my keyboard?
  13. Hi, why does this happens if the thrust limit is set to 90.1? Regards Tom
  14. Javier, I actually do - but in the same time I write my critics if you agree or not - also I right what I really like. You are right we do not talk about money. Go for it and make it complete....I am not such a visual guy for me the rain etc and all what is in the cabin is not important - do what you can and what you think what people want and what you want to do - all what I say is just my opinion. Regards Tom
  15. TO/GA modes are marked RED in the manual, you can clearly see that they are not simulated at this time. We did not promise anything that is RED in the manual. This is why you can download them before purchasing the aircraft. Philipp Hi Phillip, you are right javier says: he want to do but he is not sure if he can so he do not want to promise anything. right ok you are not promising anything - for now this is XP default nothing more as in any other free or payware. This is quite poor. More and closer to the real one should be possible for $60,00 (in my opinion) Kind Regards Tom
  16. Hi, I discovered that the CRJ200 crashes sometimes (not everytime) while inputs given the serialFP2 plugin for the VRInsight Hardware. This hardware emulates xplane keystrokes. No probblems with this in any other plane till now. I can send you a log file and the crash file - if you like. But as I see those files do not say anything to me cause this crash is without any message xp just closees. Regards Tom
  17. Hi Javier, with time to look closer to the model I must say I am dissapointed of the autopilot simulation - the simulation right now is just the default xp autopilot. The CRJ unique systems Lateral TO / Lateral GA / Vertical TO / Vertical GA are not simulated. I really hope you will put this in the further updates. Look for the complete and reality near AP system in the QPAC freeware and in peters A380. Anyway I like this plane but I expected more reallity. I am sure you will put your efforts in this to give your customers what you promise in the manual. Regards Tom
  18. Cool Thnx Tom
  19. yes this kind of shuttering is annoying of course - what is your framerate while recording this video? Tom
  20. You mean you know why it do not find the SUL vortac just beneath EDDS? or do you mean you know why it does not display the correct frequency?? Regards Tom
  21. Good for you :-) I do now a new complete installation of xp and will tell what happens - I am not overclocking the CPUs and not the vidoe card. I am using the latest drivers and all availbale updates for the system. After the test I will tell you my specific system. Regards Tom
  22. So this is it. I can promise you I will enhance the holdings and work on improving the turn anticipation issue (the root cause of the A/P struggling with the red line). But I won't give you stuff the real CRJ, as for my documentation, can't do, and this is a completely automated VNAV descent. Regarding the manipulators: Javier already wrote something about this. Basically, we are struggling with X-Plane pecularities here. Regarding assignable custom commands, I will compile a dataref list for cockpit builders and other hardware enthusiasts. Every single switch in the CRJ is tied to a custom dataref, and I will open them for cockpit builders. However, 99% of the users out there are flying with joystick and mouse, so mouse manipulation is what we care about. Custom commands for hardware with a gazillion switches is less important to the average user, so it is a lower priority on my list. Expect me re-visiting this topic only AFTER I sorted out the bugs in the pinned list. Cheers, Philipp Hi Phillip I understand your point 100% and I do not mean to put all on custom buttons / keystrokes but some important which are difficult to manipulate or which have to manipulate while dealing with ATC - and alone in cockpit - as always :-) I would love to have the following custom buttons / keystrokes as this cannot anymore asigned to the original buttons / keystrokes: - HSI source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS - Map source NAV1 / NAV2 / FMS - DME source VOR1 VOR2 ADF1 ADF2 - MAP Display - MAP Range BTW is it possible to write entries into the scratchpad on the fmc using my keyboard? do not found a hint in the manual. Regards Tom
  23. Hi Javier, yes I did the update to cycle 1105 (and I apprechiate that you use this worldwide database) - the problem is not the false frequency the problem is that I cannot load the WP SUL (Vortac) at all if I choose the FMC option "TO" on the FPL page. If I choose one of the 2 options I am far away from this Vortac which should be round 25nm in the southwest of EDDS and the last WP of the SUL SIDs. Regards Tom
  24. No, i dont use KLN, furthermore, i have removed all plugins except CRJ-related. In fact, the problem occur several seconds after i turn battery switch on (no more manipulations till shutters, and everything is ok while cold&dark), and back ok if the avionics plugin is disabled through the plugin menu. Hi, I tried it without the KLN90B files in the XP main folder - nothing changed. Still this shutering with good framerates. Yes during the testphase of KLN90B we discovered that the SASL plugin was scanning the NAVDATA in a loop which caused the rythmically shutter in this case. Meanwhile this problem is solved in the KLN90B. Regards Tom
  25. Is this possible - shutters cause the EADT is in the Aircraft Folder of XP?? Regards Tom
