uffdaken Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 How can I fix this problem, to keep mesage from poping up. This is the default 747 United aircraft. I have attached a screen shot. I have deleted the folder, then re-installed aircraft. Was there a patch that I missed somewhere. ? Quote
sqrt(-1) Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 The best way to re-install any default aircraft is to run the X-Plane updater. Quote
thawksworth Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Looks like X-Plane is having trouble reading the aircraft. The file may have accidentally gone corrupt when you were installing. Do what sqrt(-1) said. Quote
uffdaken Posted August 20, 2014 Author Report Posted August 20, 2014 Thanks, I may have already done that, but I will try again. I was wondering if I put in Disk 1, is there a repair function. Quote
chris k Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) This is definitely the program you want to use: http://www.x-plane.com/downloads/x-plane_10_installer-updater/ Dont use the DVD installer/updater - its generally out of date. The Installer/updater linked above will repair any XP10 installation for the "Laminar Supplied" files. Edited August 20, 2014 by chris k Quote
uffdaken Posted August 23, 2014 Author Report Posted August 23, 2014 I have tried the installer, but this week(19-22 Aug.) it get's stuck on "locating servers." Never had this problem before. I wonder if the servers were down. Quote
AngeloM Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 This week I checked their servers every day for the RC and no problem at all, all of them were/are fully functional. Quote
uffdaken Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 Ok Thanks. Must be my computer. Quote
