Yes, it works very well :-) . But in this plane the CIVA tells you where you are and where to go, nothing more.

 

But beware that the autopilot can not be coupled with CIVA (or any other navigation system) - it just holds attitude somewhat.

 

If you want preceise navigation, it's better to use gps - either the KLN90 or the new GNS430 works well with this airplane. But again - no connection with the autopilot.

 

The CIVA system is definitely worth the money, but it's pointless to use it with DC-3.
