Still, I can answer this! Danklaue on X-Plane.org posted this in regards to Carenado Aircraft, and the same procedure works for all aircraft with a 430 or 530 installed!

1. Open PlaneMaker (app included in X-Plane), and load the B200 v1.1.

2. Go to "Standard>Systems" menu.  Stay in the first tab ("General 1")

3. Locate the "FMS/GPS" frame and select  "pilot use modern ARINC424 capable" and "copilot use modern ARINC424 capable".

4. Close that window, and go to "Standard>Panel 3D".

5. Locate the bottom GNS430 graphic and click on it, so that it's selected.

6. Now look at the bottom frame.  You should find a checkbox that makes this a "copilot" instrument.  Make sure this checkbox is checked.

Then hit the save button (floppy disk icon at the top).

7. Load in X-Plane and enjoy.

For all other planes, follow the same steps, but you will not have the high-res full version of the new GNS430 in the 3D cockpit… only a slimmed-down version with radio frequencies displayed on it.  But if you click on them, you will get the new GNS430 as a full-fledged 2D pop-up instrument.
