AnthonyAlanSullivan Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 I have Version 10.10r3 running on a desktop Mac. I have tried updating through the software itself and through the installer but nothing works. Randy Witt of X-Plane just keeps telling me it is my fault without offering any solutions. I have no firewalls turned on in the Mac or in the router. I run no virus software. In desperation last September I bought another set of discs hoping that the bug would be gone but no it is still there. I have asked Randy to send the upgrade files to me but she does not answer my emails. Can anyone help? regardsAnthony Sullivan Quote
AngeloM Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Hello Anthony,go to http://www.x-plane.com/downloads/x-plane_10_installer-updater/ and get the latest installer for Mac, after that you should be able to upgrade your installation. As you're running a very old version the best/must is to let the installer overwrite all files that were changed, if any. AnthonyAlanSullivan Posted May 5, 2014 Author Report Posted May 5, 2014 Hi Angelo, Thanks for your suggestions but I have already downloaded that latest installer but to no avail. You click on the upgrade button and it sits there for hours saying that it is contacting X-Plane to find an update server. Quote
AngeloM Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 That's very strange, I checked right now and the installer find update servers in no time... as I don't know if I can publish some informations I'll send you a PM right now in order to do a test. Quote
