captainamerican Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) My friend recently gave me his old 2010 mac pro and I am curious to see if the hardware he has is good enough to run X-Plane 10 with some high rendering options. So here is the setup (basically) - 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor - 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM RAM (Which I am going to upgrade to 8GB)- ATI Radeon HD 6870 with 1GB VRAM Graphics Card- OS X 10.9.2 I know i can run X-Plane 10 on it, but how high can I run it with a good FPS? (sorry I'm just pretty ignorant when it comes to hardware and performance) Edited April 29, 2014 by captainamerican Quote
