geronimopilot Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Hello All, I am new to this forum so please forgive me if these issues have been addressed, but I recently purchased the MU2 and have been flying it around trying to figure out the systems prior to any IFR flying. My questions are: 1) Are there any checklists for the MU2 available?2) Can anyone give me the correct "Joystick /throttle" set up configurations for proper turboprop operations? I am in real life a multi-engine/commercial IFR rated pilot, and have experience in King Airs so I am somewhat familiar with pressurized aircraft - I just can't find the above requests and I am somewhat new to X-Plane. Thank you for your help! Scott Quote
b727cpt Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 Set throttles as normal and use a rocker switch for reverse thrust Quote

wim1976 Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 Yes braking gives sometimes a lot of trouble. It looks like that while pressing B not 100% of the brakes is released and after pressing B another time B the brake pressure returns not to 100%. It seems that this key gives trouble al the way. (You can see this behaviour after selecting the variables around braking in the data input & output screen [settings]). Sometimes after many B presses the brake pressure goes in the direction of zero and you can move. Pressing V is more reliable in this case. (Or was V the problem and B okay, I don't know exactly anymore ... it becomes time to release the brakes of the MU shortly...). I don't even know if releasing and setting the prake by mouse had the same problem or not. I hope that this bug get solved one day. Quote
RedPxl Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 Hey guys, sorry to hijack this thread (trying not to make another mu2) I've just recently purchased the MU-2 as well from x-aviation.com and I'm having trouble too, When I first load the airplane on the runway with the engines running I try to remove the brakes through the cockpit parking lever to the right of the yoke and then when I add power and then I can't seem to get the airplane moving, the tires are always screeching no matter what. Is there something I'm not doing? You can find more info about the brakes on the MU2 in these thread:http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/5249-no-brakes-with-the-latest-update-15-for-the-mu/?p=54822http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/5470-parking-brake/ Quote
