IPwnNoobs Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Hi All. I've just set up X-Plane 10. Seems really quirky coming from MSFSX in terms of how it deals with views. My deal is I want to zoom out. That's it. I've got 3 monitors, their all in a row, I don't mind running X-Plane one giant window across all three of them, but I can't zoom out beyond being able to see the compass on the dashboard. This seems outrageously stupid and I must be missing something simple. Either that or how do I open new view windows? in FSX it was just a click away under views and I can't seem to find that here. The few things I've read talk about running multiple computers, but as I've got an 800lbs gorilla of a computer for this I don't see the point. Attached file is a screen shot zoomed all the way out. Thanks! Quote
Tsetsoh Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Inside X-Plane go to settings/rendering options, then adjust the FOV setting (near the bottom). I'm running 3 screens and I use 115 as a setting. You may need something different. Edited March 25, 2014 by Tsetsoh Quote
IPwnNoobs Posted March 25, 2014 Author Report Posted March 25, 2014 Yup - that does it. Thanks. Quote
