topper Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) Hello everyone, I have some problems using TrackIR in a good way, so basically it's working, but the problem is, that I want to move the view by keyboard also, when Track IR is in stand-by mode (switched off by hotkey). And this is not working, I can't move the view by keyboard or mouse in the virtual cockpit if TrackIR is in "Stand By Mode", because the view is locked at the last "direction of view" it’s got from TrackIR. To move the view even by keyboard is necessary to hit the buttons in the virtual cockpit, because I need to move to the panel and zoom in there. (It's very hard to hit the right button when TrackIR is active) So I downloaded the plugin PilotView, and it's working so far, but...If I switch to external view, the plugin would be disabled and I have to activate it again in the plugin menu. So this is not really comfortable. :-(I also don't understand the hotkeys in the PilotView.ini file: HotKey = F1HotKeyModifiers = Shift+Down So what I have to press for this case? Shift+Down+F1??I can't get it on/off by keyboard :-( Thank you for helping me! Edited March 16, 2014 by topper Quote
topper Posted March 16, 2014 Author Report Posted March 16, 2014 Ah ok I got it.Down does not means the arrow keys it only means "pressing down". But I have two questions left: - Is there a way to activate it automaticly after switching to virtual cockpit view?- Is there a way to move the direction of view when TrackIR is in "stand by mode"?
