jettojig Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 Hi there! Never actually posted here before today so please tell me if this isn't the right place; since it seems related to a scenery package I'm editing then here seemed appropriate. I'm working on converting some UK2000 scenery, the Edinburgh one to be specific, and have come across an odd error. Basically, Edinburgh will load initially and (while a mess due to being a difficult conversion) everything is there. However, if trying to load a new section of scenery (e.g. by changing the airport you are at) or even re-load the scenery, I get a crash following an error message reading: Null texture - how?ref= 3(tman.cpp:235) Note that this scenery is the cause of things as removing it eliminates the issue - it happens no matter which airport you go to from Edinburgh, though travelling from one place into Edinburgh has no effect. I don't think it's the same issue as an old v9 problem I spotted that was related to Nvidia cards; while I have one, this issue is in v10 and specific to this scenery. I've attached my log file in case that helps though there are some other issues that are due to this being a WIP conversion. If you can help me, thanks a lot, I'm stumped!Log.txt Quote
jettojig Posted February 21, 2014 Author Report Posted February 21, 2014 OK so I think I answered my own issue, it was simply a tiny little object with a funny/missing texture. No idea what was so funny about it that it killed X-plane in such an odd way. Quote
