Aerolitoral (Now Aeromexico Connect) had a fleet of 22 Saab 340B in 2000 and 2001. These planes flew all over Mexico and even internationally to San Diego, Tucson, Phoenix, Dallas, and Laredo.
Aerolitoral started replacing their Saabs with ERJs in 2005. In 2007 the name was replaced to Aeromexico Connect and the introduction of E-190s and ERJs ended the long run for Saab with the Mexican airline.
