moosen89 Posted October 27, 2013 Report Posted October 27, 2013 Hey today i tested the fuel selectors and they are not working as intended?example 1. Left aux tank with fuel. Others are dry. Of course i set both fuel selectors to left aux.I checked the fuel at the fuel gauge in the cockpit and under fuel and balance in x-plane.I can start the left engine but not the right. I can even start the left engine when the fuel selector is not even on a tank with fuel in it.Same thing when you only fill the right aux. After starting the engine i can switch to any other tank even if its empy and the engine is still running. Conclusion: Fuel selectors are complety out of function. When hitting the ignition knob x-plane sets the fuel selector to every left and equally to every right tank for the specific engine. When one side is completly dry you cant restart the engine on this side.
moosen89 Posted December 8, 2013 Author Report Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) The Fuel Selectors still dont work properly. Any chance to get help here. I read the manual and other sources but i cant find the problem. I asked some other DC3 pilots and they agreed on having the same problem.I made a video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmPeFI8l--8 Edited December 8, 2013 by moosen89
