So now the SAAB 340A has been released and what a magnificent bird she is. I also think its wonderful that LES added the fix-to-fix RNAV capability for those who need it.

But here are my thoughts as to how LES could take it one step further...develop an addon (that hopefully could work with all planes) that integrates with the 3d cockpit and as a popup (or maybe just a camera preset) that is a dedicated GPS, hell even a removable or window mounted one would be a great addition and bring some realism as I am sure most of these older SAAB's have been retrofitted with either an FMS or GPS.

Don't get me wrong I love flying VOR-to-VOR old school but this is 2013 and GPS are here to stay and allow RNAV without having to install FMS. I guess this could be a similar thing to the CIVA that is suggested as a brilliant companion to the 727.

I own the RXP Garmin 430... no 64bit support and getting it to function in a 3d Cockpit is almost impossible unles the acf developer allows it.

So thats my wishlist for LES and the SAAB 340 (maybe it will happen for the "B" model)

If anyone could do this to a level of quality above and beyond RXP (and support it) it's LES and X-A :D

I can't wait to have a fully functional GPS in this bird. This is the final missing part in this amazing bird! Only a basic FMC with RNAV capability should be enough. I hope we will see it come though one day. And the cool thing is that future planes could benefit from it. Keep up the great work LES!

Kind regards,

Jorik
