IVAO: connected but not located

this is a quote from a topic i made in ivao forum with no answer helas (maybe because it is not about the ivao pilot plugin) so i try my chance (?) here. here is the quote:

i enjoyed playing in ivao network for years but a few days ago, i upgraded my wifi connexion ralink to the latest version (5.0.8.0) and since this day, i cannot play in ivao anymore, only offline. the thing is that i'm connected (i know that because i'm connected in http://www.ivao.aero/members/person/details.asp and http://webeye.ivao.aero/. moreover, in the x-ivap, i have the welcome message and the console shows who is connecting and disconnecting).

but the weird thing is my status in x-ivap is OFFLINE and i am in the middle of nowhere in the webeye.

i reinstalled the plugin (x-ivap 0.2.1) and the wifi connexion drivers ralink (without the upgrade) and nothing changed.
i dont know if the wifi upgrade changed something in x-plane or windows 7. this is why i come here for help. thank you.

i think the problem is that the upgrade modified something in x-plane but i dont know what. something related to the connexion because the plugin cannot find my plane location in the game.
