cessna729 Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 I have a problem with the BAE Jetstream 32. When I do an automatic approach to an airport...The JS-32 isn't a Airbus, it dosn't have "auto land" capability, you the "pilot" have to land it. ...the Auto-pilot always disconnects. If you select 35 deg FLAPS it WILL AUTOMATICALLY disconnect the autopilot as described in Javer's manual pg.44cessna729. 2 Quote
cruster Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 Funny thing, I never associated the full flaps with the AP disconnecting. 16 flights later, I learned something new. LOL. Quote
arb65912 Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 I panicked when it happened for the first time ... then I have read that it is a normal behavior... Cheers, AJ Quote

cessna729 Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 Where would the fun be in that, though? Very True! In my younger days, the saying used to be:Only when all else fails....Read Instructions/Manual! cessna729. Quote
