This may be possible with the use of simlinks/softlinks, but from all I've been given to understand, there is no way to internally tell X-Plane to look anywhere other than the "Custom Scenery" folder for it's scenery needs.

Ok Chris thanks was just experimenting with moving add-on scenery from My SSD to a Ram disk it worked I tried inside passage and it seemed to work ok but when I tried your  YPAD  it gave a message that the scenery may not display properly . But it worked . You know me I love to tinker and I was thinking that heavy duty add on scenery might load faster from a ram disk than the SSD . what can I say Boing Boing Boing Twang
