larjeet
I thought that I had seen somewhere that it was possible to locate scenery files on another drive or location can anyone help me Larry
greggerm
This may be possible with the use of simlinks/softlinks, but from all I've been given to understand, there is no way to internally tell X-Plane to look anywhere other than the "Custom Scenery" folder for it's scenery needs. larjeet
Ok Chris thanks was just experimenting with moving add-on scenery from My SSD to a Ram disk it worked I tried inside passage and it seemed to work ok but when I tried your YPAD it gave a message that the scenery may not display properly . But it worked . You know me I love to tinker and I was thinking that heavy duty add on scenery might load faster from a ram disk than the SSD . what can I say Boing Boing Boing Twang Larry
