edwin Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 Hi All,Have been using the NVidia GTX 570 1gb for over a year now and its been a really good card. However I've been seriously considering upgrading to the GTX 680 2 GB. Any of you folks using this card for X-Plane as I would really appreciate absolutely 'Any' feedback. (I really want to stay with NVidia)Cheers All & G'day Quote
Jim Kallinen Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 Have a Zotac GTX580 Amp2 3gb and love it. Works great for all my sims. So the 680 should work even better. I believe Cameron has a 680 from previous post. Maybe he will get you some input. Quote
edwin Posted October 13, 2012 Author Report Posted October 13, 2012 Cheers Jim. As a matter of interest how much of the 3Gb can X-Plane utilise at any one time? Ive been told theres a limitation of 1.5 Gb that the program can use & that the rest isn't used?. Quote

But it does help with over all running speeds and graphics look great. Quote
