IRS Alignment

I have a problem initializing the position of my CRJ 1.4.5. Everything is working until the point that I copy the departure airport coordinates into the scratch pad. Next, I click the FMS right select key 5 to set position, but nothing happens. I tried reinstalling, it still didnt fix the problem. Any ideas what might cause such an error?

The IRS can only be aligned when it's in stby mode.

-If you loaded the aircraft cold&dark, you have to turn the IRS selectors to the NAV position before entering the coordinates

-If you loaded the aircraft with engines running, the IRS is already aligned. To re-align it to a new position, turn the IRS selectors to the OFF position for at least ten seconds, then turn them back to NAV.
