karingka Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 So I'm currently in the process of souping up my KBOS scenery conversion over to the new v10 lighting. I can't use WED (due to some windows bug which doesn't allow me to import any dsf without crashing) so I'm using overlay editor. What I first did, obviously, was delete the old lamp posts. The strange thing is, when I open up XP after doing so, the lamps are gone, but the lights remain! See the screenshots attached. I have considered the fact that these may be a separate object, but if they are, how do I delete the/find them? I have tried clicking all over Overlay editor and cant find these strange objects.Any ideas?
Tonka Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 If you cant find them in OE, find out which object(s) they are in and delete those from the scenery folder, then they will be shown as a little white block with a no entry-sign in OE when you reload it. Select one of them, then use ctrl-shift-N (or whatever it is) to select all instances of that object.
karingka Posted February 15, 2012 Author Report Posted February 15, 2012 Right, thanks. I knew what the objects were, but couldn't select them in OE cause I couldn't click them.
Tonka Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Yeah i know what you mean. Did deleting the object work, were you able to select the placeholder's?
karingka Posted February 16, 2012 Author Report Posted February 16, 2012 Yeah I was, ctrl-shift-n as you suggested. Thanks
