This issue is driving me crazy, the worst part is that it seems to be intermittent. I have had a long break from the sim, but on coming back and clearing out the cobwebs I ran into this issue. It happens getting ready for departure, when first setting up the Perf/Takeoff data, and once it occurred I could not find a way to "fix" it.  I decided maybe something had gotten corrupted so I uninstalled/reinstalled the latest version just to be sure. The weird thing is I completed a flight last night successfully but today its occurring again.

One bit of data, I noticed that when this issue occurs the temp display on the PFD is showing "--", have no idea if its related or not. Yes, I've read whatever reports on this that I could find, and have tried all the various suggestions out there, fiddling around with the second FMS, mucking with the QNH, etc etc.. Nothing seems to help. Right now I am not confident that I have a known good/known bad setup.

I saw a bug/item in the 1.7 changelog listing this as a fix, but clearly something is still wrong. I'd really like to do some flights for Onair with this plane, please help!

Cheers,

Jack

I probably should have said that this is on XP12, the latest version as well. I've looked at the sim log hoping to find any clue but don't see anything. Am happy to help if someone has any suggestions.

I think this very likely to be the case. It appears that the Challenger loses temp information, which is equivalent to changing the temp in the takeoff perf page in the FMS, which will also lead to a deselection of V-speeds, since they need to be newly calculated based on a changed temperature.

Are you using any weather addons that might cause a loss in temperature information?
